The Association of Investment Companies (AIC) reports that VCTs continue to attract significant investor support. The £882m that has just been raised is the third highest fundraising for the sector and an encouraging endorsement for the scheme. In addition to the economic benefits that #VCTs bring around company formation and job creation, VCTs are playing a vital role in helping to fuel innovation in areas with the potential to solve some major societal problems. Our managing partner Will Fraser-Allen observes: “Through Albion’s investment pipeline and portfolio, we are privileged to see UK companies ambitious to develop technology solutions to change the world we live in. VCTs are particularly well placed to support the thriving UK ecosystem of technology entrepreneurs to create the category leading UK businesses of the future. We firmly believe that backing innovation is central to growing the UK economy, and VCTs will be an important contributor to this ambition.” Full story here: https://lnkd.in/e8_EBYGf #venturecapital #ukinnovation #investments
