With 2025 right around the corner, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate what made 2024 so special! INFRA hosted 66 virtual and in-person events this year, with a total of 667 attendees. From wellness to marketing to merchandising, these events gave members the opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at an INFRA event in 2024. Compare your results to see where you need to adjust for next time. 2. Start Early The earlier you begin planning your exhibit, the better prepared you’ll be. Ideally, you should be planning with your exhibit partners 16 weeks or more before your show date. 3. Promote, Promote, and Promote Again Start marketing your booth on social media a month or two before the show date, then during the show, and a few weeks after. 4. Provide Value Always Create a well-thought-out in-booth experience with high-quality and unique giveaways to keep your brand top-of-mind long after the show has ended. 5. Follow Up with Curiosity Connect with the contacts you made at the show. THIS is smart swag. On Wednesday I had the chance to ride Cedar Point’s newest roller coaster in a passholder preview event. Kudos to Cedar Fair Entertainment Company Cedar Point Amusement Park the event was a blast. Staff were engaging in fun conversation and the place was buzzing. Oh, the world’s fastest triple launch strata coaster was sweet too. On our way out, an associate stopped us and to gift us these pins, as if the day hadn’t been enough of a gift! It may seem like a small thing, but as a marketer I couldn’t stop thinking about the real value of this token. 1. Promotes future pin sales. It may be the start of my coaster-pin collection (which they sell in the park). 2. Creates brand advocates. I’m proud to be one of the first riders, here I am sharing it now! 3. Building brand loyalty with surprise and delight. We left the park smiling and looking forward to our next visit! Too much swag tends to be items we don’t really want or need. There is unmatched ROI for promotional products when done with strategy. Take note from Cedar Fair. This is smart swag.
