This week I gave a presentation to a bunch of young people currently studying for their bachelor’s degree at a local university. Here are some basic principles and features to have in mind, which have paid off at our Group over the years: ☑️ Be persistent, hardworking, passionate and never give up. Excellence in business will be rewarded on the basis of merit and fairness, I knew none of our managers before joining the firm years ago. ☑️ Be patient, sooner or later opportunities will come your way. Just make sure you spot them and think clearly. ☑️ Be loyal and committed. Most managers grow to the role from within the firm. ☑️ Don’t be scared to try, dare to discover your limits and potential. ☑️ Find what is ideal for you and stick around. Jumping roles too often is not a good sign. ☑️ Keep learning and developing your knowledge and skills, identifying new trends, technologies and innovations in your field and ensuring you remain competitive in the long term. Life is a marathon, not a 100m race. #financialservices #cysec #regulation #compliance #education #humanresources

I realised that story telling is a superpower, our ability to share our stories allows people to feel connected with us. This is why you will see that the best creators, brands and leaders are the best storytellers. Now how can you , use it to your advantage? Well, the answer lies in being genuine and being honest with your community and sharing your valuable learnings. So I am going to share my learnings with you all hoping to add some value to your lives from the things I have experienced. Also I am open to learning from your experiences. To begin with would you want to know what helped me get an admit from The Fletcher School at Tufts University in both their MALD and MIB QM program with a scholarship of 50,000 USD ? Also being from a middle class Indian family what challenges I faced and how I eventually applied for Global Governance Initiative IMPACT FELLOWSHIP program receiving an admit and a partial Scholarship from there aswell but couldn't pursue it either and how my approach changed in regard to my career ? If interested drop a comment and I'll share my learnings and experiences in the next post . #community #experiences #learnings #Fletcher #globalgovernanceinitiative

In our line of work, quality is not just an expectation—it’s a fundamental principle. However, how we achieve that quality truly makes all the difference. It reminds me of a powerful saying, “The journey is the destination.” This resonates deeply with my work philosophy. It’s crucial to consider how we work, the conditions we foster, and the culture we cultivate. Recently, I heard about companies where interns are working 10-14 hours a day. It raises significant questions about sustainability and longevity in the profession. Yes, in our field, underperformance is noticeable, and the stakes are high. But it’s equally important to look beyond just ‘getting things done.’ The manner in which we achieve results, the environment we create for our teams, and the respect we have for their well-being and professional growth are what set us apart. Let’s strive not just for excellence in outcomes but in every step of the journey there. After all, in a profession where quality is paramount, how we reach our goals is what truly distinguishes us. #leadership #accountant #auditor #taxconsultant
