We either pull together or fall apart. Last month, we gathered over 1,000 signatures and testimonials in successful opposition to the proposed in-year axing of the EIJB grant that 64 charities really on to support as broad and diverse a range of communities as you can imagine. More in this soon. Over this campaign I kept hearing a few common themes across the voluntary sector: - We are too siloed - We need better visibility of what each other are up to and how to get involved - We need a space to come together, connect, and grow a shared voice - We need a space to talk about the big stuff with people who get it So, I've made one. ‘Advocates, Allies and Ambassadors Network’ or "AAA!" for short. https://lnkd.in/eNGcFb8t A space for those working or volunteering in, with, or supportive of the sector to connect, share, discuss, collaborate, support one another, and grow. Please, jump on in, ask questions, share resources & events, offer support, and help it achieve it's name; a network of advocates, allies and ambassadors who can help each other and respond faster and louder to threats like funding cuts and policy shifts.
