At the AWS Stockholm Summit 2024, I was truly inspired by the smart minds around me. We saw how AI is changing our lives, especially with RAG systems that make complex tasks simple. AWS showed us how easy it can be to build and use these systems. The idea of making apps with "reasoning", shared in the keynote, really resonated with me. It’s an exciting change that could transform how we create software. For instance, Kone’s AI assistant shows how AI can make everyday work better for their technician. The summit also sparked conversations about the switch of AWS Lambdas into no-code/low-code alternatives, challenging us to rethink architectural design. AWS continues to push the boundaries, introducing services that make previous methods obsolete. We’re moving towards services that operate independently of AWS Lambdas, which could lead to easier maintenance and enhanced security. We also remembered that new doesn’t always mean forgetting the old. Sometimes, the best way forward is to combine what we know works with new ideas. These events are more than just meetings; they’re where we come together to think bigger and bolder. I came away more excited than ever to push the boundaries of technology and share what I’ve learned. Happy to see the first major outcome of our recent GenAI hackathon! This post by PREM perfectly highlights the impact of our collaboration with AWS. The synergy between PREM's platform and AWS infrastructure is opening up exciting new avenues for developers in the realm of generative AI.
