Link baiting: A technique used in search engine optimization (SEO) to attract backlinks to a website by creating content that is specifically designed to be interesting and shareable. The goal is to get other websites to link to your content, which can help to improve your website's ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs). There are many different types of link bait, but some of the most common include: Infographics: Infographics are visual representations of data or information that are often very eye-catching and easy to understand. They can be a great way to get people to share your content on social media and other websites. Listicles: Listicles are articles or blog posts that list several items, such as the "10 best SEO tips" or the "20 most common mistakes people make when building a website." They can be a great way to break down complex topics into easy-to-digest chunks. Quizzes and polls: Quizzes and polls can be a fun and engaging way to get people to interact with your content. They can also be a great way to collect data from your audience. Controversial content: Content that is controversial or takes a strong stance on a particular issue is more likely to be shared and discussed than more neutral content. However, it is important to be careful when using this type of link bait, as it can backfire if you are not careful. Link baiting can be a very effective way to improve your website's SEO, but it is important to use it ethically and responsibly. If you are caught using manipulative or spammy link-baiting techniques, you could be penalized by Google and other search engines. follow us on https://lnkd.in/dbnfkdGs #linkbuildingseo #guestposting #linkbaiting #backlinkservices #digitalamarketingexpart #seo #searchengineoptimization #offpageseoservices #onpageseo

Why do search engines hate duplicate content so much? You have probably heard that having multiple pages with the same content can negatively affect your SEO. Search engines strive to show the most relevant result for a user's query. Unfortunately, duplicate pages on a website make their job difficult. There are a few reasons why this happens: 1) When you have duplicate page on your site, it becomes more difficult for Search engines to choose which page is the best version of the same content 2) It can negatively impact the 'crawl budget' (the number of pages search engines will crawl on a website within a certain timeframe). Google may end up crawling the same (duplicate) pages repeatedly instead of finding other relevant content on your website. So how do you find duplicate content? 1) You can use Semrush's 'Site Audit' tool (https://lnkd.in/dQdtGfCV) 2) You can also use Siteliner (siteliner.com) - it detects duplicate content and highlights it on the pages for you to fix it. How to fix it? 1) Edit the content where possible to make it unique 2) Use canonical tags to tell Google which is the master page 3) Use 301 redirects where required Hope this helped. My client: "I want to write long content to be more visible." False Good Idea Long content in SEO is not favored by Google. It’s content that directly addresses the search intent that is favored. Reminder: Search intent is understanding what the user really wants to find when they enter a query in a search engine, in order to optimize the content to precisely meet that need. PERIOD. That’s why, personally I write content that will answer all the potential questions of the future reader. I propose intuitive internal linking to complete the topic. Internal linking = internal links between the pages of your site using hyperlinks that are semantically connex I check what the top 10 offers for the query to propose the most comprehensive topic possible with Semrush France or haloscan When you understand that search intent is crucial, you'll think quality > quantity.

Creating longer content for SEO purposes can be beneficial for several reasons. Search engines often favor longer, comprehensive content because it tends to provide more value to users. Long-form content allows you to target a wider range of keywords, including long-tail keywords (more specific, longer phrases). These often have less competition and can bring in targeted traffic.Tools like Ahrefs, Moz, or #Axiolo’s free SEO Audit can help identify long-tail keyword opportunities. Consider user intent and search queries to tailor your content. Longer content provides an opportunity to delve deep into a topic. Consider including expert opinions, interviews, or original research to add credibility and value.Address various aspects and subtopics related to the main theme to cover the subject comprehensively. Internal linking plays a crucial role in SEO by improving the structure and ranking potential of your website. Here’s how: 1. Distributes Page Authority Internal links help pass link equity (or “link juice”) from high-authority pages to other pages on your site, improving their SEO ranking potential 🔗. 2. Improves Crawlability Search engine bots crawl your site more easily by following internal links 🕵️♂️. This helps ensure all your pages get indexed properly and quickly. 3. Enhances User Experience Internal links guide users to related content, improving site navigation 🧭 and keeping visitors engaged for longer, which can reduce bounce rates. 4. Boosts Keyword Relevance By using relevant anchor text in internal links, you help search engines understand the content of linked pages, potentially boosting rankings for targeted keywords 🔑. 5. Increases Dwell Time When users click on internal links and explore more pages on your site ⌛, it increases dwell time, a positive signal for search engines. 6. Prioritizes Important Pages Internal linking allows you to highlight and prioritize key pages (such as product pages or cornerstone content) by linking to them from various sections of your site 🎯. 7. Improves Topical Relevance Linking related content together helps build topical relevance and authority within your niche 🏆, making it easier for search engines to rank your site higher in that area. 8. Reduces Orphan Pages Pages without internal links (orphan pages) may not get indexed or discovered easily by search engines. Proper internal linking ensures all your pages are accessible 🔍. By strategically placing internal links, you can enhance your site’s SEO performance, improve user experience, and boost your page rankings. #guestpost #linkbuilding #offpageseo #contentmarketing #digitalmarketer
