"Do you have any wiggle room on price?" If you dread that question, you shouldn't. First, it's a clear signal that your prospect is probably about to buy something. When was the last time you got hooked by a good story? For me, it was over the weekend, rewatching The Shawshank Redemption. (Yes, again!) 🎬 The storytelling in that film is so powerful—it pulls you in, keeps you engaged, and leaves a lasting impact. Sales isn’t much different. Whether it’s in a call, an email, or a presentation, a compelling story can transform a conversation. Stories make you relatable, build trust, and help prospects visualize the solution you’re offering. I try to include a story whenever I reach out to leads. It’s not just about selling a product; it’s about helping them envision a better future. What’s one story that’s helped you close a deal? Share below! 💬⬇️

Here’s a wild idea... Talk Less, Listen More. One of the best things I’ve learned in sales is that you don’t have to have all the answers. Magic happens when you just shut up and listen. Ask a question, then zip it. Let your prospect spill the tea about their challenges, goals, and all the stuff keeping them up at night. You’ll be amazed at how much you can learn just by listening. Plus, it makes your pitch way easier because now you’re not guessing—you’re giving them exactly what they need. And trust me, people appreciate a salesperson who actually listens instead of steamrolling them with a pitch. Next time you’re in a sales meeting, give your ears a workout and see what happens. “You don’t have a sales problem, you have a positioning problem.” How do I know? Because even if you fix your sales funnel, implement a sales system and perfect your sales pitch, none of that matters UNTIL people decide to work with you. Why haven’t they decided? You’ve not answered these questions: 1. Credibility: How risky is it to trust you? 2. Contrast: How are you different from others? 3. Content: How good are you really? Many don’t realize this, but your content gives evidence of your expertise, taste of your talent and is a vehicle for your values.

Understanding their needs, fears, and desires can transform an average pitch into an irresistible proposition. I've shifted my approach from talking to listening, and the results speak for themselves. It turns transactions into partnerships and skepticism into trust. So, I challenge you to listen more in your next interaction. You might be surprised by what you learn. How has listening changed your sales game? Let’s start a conversation below.
