https://lnkd.in/gcuTqrry This shows just how far the market has changed in just 3 years with the proliferation of excellent product from legacy OEMs. Fresh product, in the right segments, and fast cycles are what is required to remain competitive.
It’s good to see more competition and more options but there’s so much more that needs to happen in this market. Progressing in the right direction though.
Fast cycles are the key, and developments are impressive, but still me no want.
I'm not sure you get the BEV market. You want mass BEV proliferation, make it cost effective. Who cares about anything of this "Fresh product, in the right segments, and fast cycles are what is required to remain competitive." when the masses can't afford it. And further fresh product and fast cycles only increase the cost. Stop with the "let the eat cake" mentality. First, start with affordability, then have the other conversations. Until then, there is no mass adoption period. BEVs are for the well to do and only so many well to do's want a BEV and/or don't already have one.
