Today we celebrate National STEM Day where we unite to celebrate the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. When most people think of industries that use STEM disciplines, construction is often overlooked when in reality science, technology, engineering and mathematics are present in and around construction in many ways. And these aren’t just the theoretical parts of STEM – it’s STEM actually being applied to real-life purposes.

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The funding will pay twelve selected high school or community college STEM educators $6000 to participate in a six-week Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing summer 2025 program and $500 for implementation of developed learning modules during the following academic year.
