𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚😊 Where you can enjoy the amenities of a lively urban place, discover the harmonious interplay of historic buildings and modern architecture, and enjoy the culinary delights with a century-long ‘beer, sausage and gingerbread’ tradition 🍺 Besides being a great base camp for hiking and cycling 🚴♂️ in Franconia, Nuremberg has excellent prospects, which makes it a highly attractive city for business and investment. Also, with 3.6 million inhabitants, the Nuremberg Metropolitan area is a high-tech, industrial, and innovative service location. Gross domestic product has been rising consistently over recent years and is currently EUR 156.5 billion. The number of people in the workforce has never been higher. For centuries in this city, inventive genius has met the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity with a solution-oriented attitude. An excellent base for developing solutions for networked manufacturing, sustainable energy systems, digital health management, and intelligent mobility. Application-oriented research and the intensive networking of universities and research institutions are the norm in Nuremberg. Yet another amazing fact - 1,300 embedded tech companies in the Nuremberg region develop solutions for software and hardware systems in the global high-tech industry. Explains why 10% of the workforce here is employed in the digital sector. Because of this, Nuremberg ranks first in Bavaria and among the top most in Germany's digital economy. #nuremberg #bavaria #investment #business #digitaleconomy #hitech

Dynamic days at the actual EXPO REAL (Messe München) in #Munich. In a nutshell some first impressions: - #Markets seem to restore gradually, but more than ever focus on real quality developments and projects, of course including top-rated #ESG-characteristics, and that’s a positive sign😀 - #Professionalism, #resilience and #perseverance seems to become awarded again👍 - Increasing appetite again for a broad spectrum of #asset-classes🍽 - Challenging times where it seems that the “silver lining” appears again clearly after years of a “cloudy sky”☀️

The Assembly Summit is back in the City of Detroit! Last year's event in Landeshauptstadt München at IAA was outstanding... but I have a funny feeling 2024 is going to be even better. : ) The theme of this year's summit is 'The Geopolitics of Movement'. For those of you who know me well you know how important this topic is both personally and professionally. The continued bifurcation of West and East is driving unique and massive opportunities and threats throughout the mobility sector. It is critical that we define the strategies, partnerships, and technologies that will ensure the continued dominance of the Western world for the next century. This is exactly our aim. With all of our partners and portfolio companies (Apptronik, CesiumAstro, Metropolis Technologies, NAVIT , Our Next Energy (ONE), Sortera Technologies, Inc., Two Boxes and more) in attendance this year's Assembly Summit will be one of the most important events of the 2024 mobility conference calendar. Expect the usual level of deep in-person conversations with the Assembly Ventures' team (Jessica Robinson, Felix Scheuffelen, Sujoy Sarkar, John Cullen, Christian Saur, Genevieve Hummer, Christine Tash, Aleksandra (Aleks) Miziolek, Boaz Mamo, Brett Harwood, David Brophy, Dhani Jones, Fritz Demopoulos, John Moavenzadeh, Jody Kelman, Kathleen Ligocki, Kirk Steudle, Michael Dunne, Philipp von Hagen, Reuben Sarkar, Susan Heystee, Tony Posawatz, P. E., Wolfgang Bernhart and more), global opinion leaders from across the mobility sector, and perhaps a humanoid robot or two. 🤖 🚀 See you in Detroit. Move to win. Move the world. #movetowin #movetheworld #assemblyventures #assemblysummit #mobility #detroit #berlin #siliconvalley
The 3rd Annual Assembly Summit is almost here! This year's event, focused on 'The Geopolitics of Movement,' will be held in Detroit on October 23. Building off the massive success of last year at IAA Munich, guests can expect another afternoon full of intimate, in-person conversations with today's opinion leaders in global mobility and our portfolio companies. Stay tuned for more information coming soon! We will end the day with the Assembly Biergarten at The Madison Building overlooking the Detroit skyline. If you are interested in attending, please reach out to any member of the Assembly team. #MoveToWin #MoveTheWorld #VentureCapital #Mobility #Detroit #SiliconValley #Berlin
