Hey there, I've got a story to share about when things didn't quite go as expected and the lessons we learned along the way. So, I had this social media strategy all set up for a mid-sized B2C company. The aim? Boost their social media following by 50% and double their engagement rate in just three months. We were all in, using targeted ads, teaming up with influencers, and creating interactive content. But guess what? Despite all the hard work, we missed the mark. Nope, we didn't hit our goals. In fact, our engagement rate dropped by 10% by the end of it all. Looking back, a few things stood out as key reasons why things didn't pan out as planned: First off, we needed clearer objectives. We had the big picture in mind but lacked those specific, measurable targets for each platform and campaign. Then there was the audience analysis blunder. We thought our audience would love influencers and interactive stuff, but turns out they preferred good ol' traditional ads. And let's not forget about timing. Our ads and influencer deals clashed with big industry events and holidays, stealing attention away from our efforts. But you know what we learned the most? Flexibility is key. When things went south, we didn't dig in our heels. Nope, we shifted gears, adapting our strategies on the fly. And ultimately, that's what saved us and allowed us to reach our goals. Typically they don’t know how or what to talk about - because most likely selling like a HSN commercial wont How? One way we are working with our brands is having the influencer go live on our behalf - tapping into our network of influencers and brand ambassadors to go live on our account. 2. Creating UnHinged Brand Videos on TikTok 2025 is embracing the unfiltered, chaotic energy of TikTok (even more than 2024 did). 3. Vibe Content Storytelling isn’t everything these days - sometimes a vibe is just enough. 4. Gatekeepers The rise of "gatekeeper" content, leverages scarcity and exclusivity.
