Woo hoo! I got this email from HubSpot this morning. It is something many of Three Ventures Technology, Inc. clients having been waiting to hear. Essentially, existing clients will begin taking advantage of the new pricing model that HubSpot introduced back in March. At the time, it was only for new customers. This is great news. “I’m really sorry we’ve given this project to you!” A client said this to me recently. Here’s the story. This was at the beginning of a re-implementation project, meaning the business already has HubSpot but isn’t getting the most out of it. They are primed for growth, having just secured multi-million £ in funding. But, in order to execute their growth plans, they’ve acknowledged they need to get the house in order. Here are the current challenges: The sales team has reverted back to spreadsheets The CRO lacks confidence in the data inside the platform and is wasting valuable time trying to make the numbers match up The customer service team is manually handling renewals, churn, etc All in all, their well-thought out processes just aren’t able to be followed in their current setup. Lots of manual work Lack of communication/collaboration Heaps of missed opportunities The first part of the project involved working with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, ops, and customer services, to get to the bottom of why HubSpot isn’t working for them. In their words, it was “unusable”. Since getting to the bottom of why this was, we’ve spent time understanding the key aims and objectives of the project, essentially peeling back the layers and re-building from the ground up.
