This Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on the incredible contributions of frontline workers, all these individuals involved in creating, making, selling, distributing and servicing the products and services we use and need in our lives. What often gets missed is that the frontlines are generally where the action is, where value gets created, and where most of the company’s employees reside, particularly in retail, hospitality, healthcare, financial services, and software/creative industries. And yet, so many companies fail to honor and invest in their frontliners. As leaders, it’s our responsibility to create environments where people can thrive. Frontliners are not just "resources" - they are the engines that keep businesses going and enable them to create value for their various stakeholders. To all the frontliners who impact our lives: Thank you for all you do and for being so extraordinary!! #UnleashingHumanMagic #Thanksgiving #FrontlineWorkers
Hubert Joly I completely concur. I refrain from referring to people as resources. Even worse is when we refer to people as "assets"; as if they are actually something to be placed on a company's balance sheet. People are people... and it is people who do great things.
Great message!
Having the humility and awareness that everyone is equal and each one’s role is equally important is a mark of true leadership. Imagine a day without our office toilet workers being on leave!! We just can’t take them for granted
Professor Hubert Joly, frontliners should also include those defending the borders or the country against hostile forces. Tense and highly pressured situations or environment.
Inspiring
Interesting.

3w👍 Excellent said! Frontline workers truly are the heartbeat of every organization, and their dedication often goes unrecognized. ✨ And I believe that workers today deserve a much better life… 🌟 Leaders should Focus On “Human Magic - pursue a noble purpose, put people at the center of the business, create an environment where every employee can blossom, and treat profit as an outcome, not the goal.”
