Today, I just want to remind you that we all get a chance to grow, to become that person we want to be,to be in that position ⚠️But the most important thing is to recognize the chance when it presents itself. That is what a chance looks like. We all get into such positions where we have a chance to speak, apply for the job,take on the challenge or go to that program. ✳️So embrace the chances that come your way. A friend shared this image today and it really hit me. My first thought was "CRAP - I have so much to do." Then I realized that was the point - the image was not a reminder of the laundry list of things to tackle before the end of the year, but a chance to reframe how I think about the tasks ahead. Consider taking the same approach. Change your mindset to see the next 3 months as the chance to do something great, however big or small it may be. The power of positive thinking is real and can have a big impact on performance and outcomes. Is 60 applications for a program assistant position a lot or not enough? Honestly, I didn’t expect to receive more than 60 applications for an assistant role in one of our educational teams! 😲 It was a huge surprise, and I wanted to share three key things I realized while reviewing each one: 1️⃣ Team spirit. It was clear from every application how much people value being part of a strong, supportive team. I’m so happy to see that our team inspires and uplifts each other, and this is something candidates truly appreciate. 2️⃣ Our projects inspire. Many applicants mentioned how inspired they were by the work we do. It’s heartwarming to know that people believe they can make a real difference through working with us. 3️⃣ Opportunities for growth. Many candidates saw this position not just as a job, but as a chance for personal and professional development. It’s proof that we offer more than tasks—we provide a space to grow and explore new possibilities. Bringing new people into the team is always a challenge, but I’m excited to have found the perfect gem to join us 💎
