The IDC predicts a significant increase in global AI spending, with generative AI leading the growth. Software will be the largest spending category, followed by hardware. Financial services, IT, and retail are expected to be the top adopters of AI technology. North America, Western Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region will see the highest AI spending. However, concerns about job losses due to AI integration persist, with upskilling being a potential solution. Integrating enterprise blockchain systems with AI can ensure data quality, ownership, and security.
