Yesterday, I celebrated my 60th birthday. Here are a few things I've learned along the way to this milestone: -God, family, friends, work is the right order. -Bad pizza is still pizza. -A cloudy day at the beach is still a day at the beach. -Thinking you’re right doesn’t mean it’s true. -Thinking someone else is wrong also doesn’t mean it’s true. -Actually, there are dumb questions. -God will absolutely give you more than you can handle, but not more than He can handle. -Learning to say “no” is a game changer. -Wisdom is what happens when you run out of dumb things to do. -There’s too much politics and not enough party in today's political parties. -Every situation can teach you something even if the lesson is what NOT to do. -You’re capable of more than you give yourself credit for. -Kindness matters. -Love wins. -Being generous doesn’t always involve money. -Time is precious, don’t waste it. -Regretting your past mistakes is pointless. Accept them, learn from them, and move on! -Things don’t always have to happen for a reason. -Forgiveness is for you, not them. -Never miss a chance to make someone laugh. -I have no idea how to “act my age”. Consistency is the key in every business

I celebrated my birthday yesterday! 25 things I learned in my most recent trip around the sun. 1. Circumstances are neutral  2. Thoughts produce feelings  3. Nobody knows what they’re doing  4. The hardest part is to take the first step 5. Getting sriracha in your eye hurts 👀 6. Love gives life meaning and happiness 7. There are many kinds of love. Brotherly, romantic, and unconditional love are a few 8. Humans are meant to be creative 9. Dramatic changes don’t last 10. Good habits compounded over many days is the key to change 11. Chick Fil A points are valuable 😂 12. More often than not people don’t intend to be mean 13. The people that are mean are crying for help 14. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness  15. Tearing others down makes every situation worse 16. Building others’ confidence will lead to success 17. Credit card companies are patiently waiting for you to mess up  18. Financial peace is worth every the effort 19. Take time to identify the life you want to live 20. It’s thrilling to figure out what you want and chase it relentlessly 21. Doing what everybody else is doing is exhausting 22. Income and worth have nothing to do with each other 23. Failure only happens when you give up 24. Even 10 minutes in the sun will change your day 25. Family walks are underrated

11 things I’ve learned in 54 years Celebrating my 54th birthday over the weekend, I took some time to reflect. We’re all evolving and growing, making mistakes and learning some lessons along the way. Here are a few insights I picked up during my 54 laps around the sun: 1. At times, the best way to move ahead is to let go. 2. Being grounded and present is the most luxurious and exotic place on earth. 3. Confidence comes from doing hard things and learning how to bounce back from setbacks, not from hollow praise or participation trophies. 4. A freeing way to walk through the world: give generously, don’t keep score. 5. Fast > perfect. 6. Self-reliant people who take agency and responsibility for their outcomes are far happier and more successful than those who blame others and play the victim. 7. Legends do the work. 8. A core responsibility is to regularly put ourselves out of business with an upgraded version. 9. Kindness is a force multiplier. Anger, fear, and greed are pollutants. 10. Laughter is miracle-grow for the soul. 11. The purpose of life is a life with a purpose. Mine is to elevate others, love unconditionally, and help unlock human creativity to improve humanity.
