I couldn’t be more proud or just simply in awe of my incredible wife Dr. Anna Rozman!! She not only serves as the Head Physician for Team USA Paralympic Powerlifting, proudly representing her country alongside world-class athletes all around the world, she has also… - Planned & led medicial missions to 3rd world countries - Taught other doctors how to incorporate evolving tech like 3D printing into their work, greatly improving the quality of life for low income children in need of custom prosthetics - Educated dozens of future doctors - Literally saved lives (side note, it’s almost alarming how many medical emergencies have taken place on her flights…) And so SO much more. Simply put, she constantly acts as a role model for not only our young son, but the community at large. Professor Scott Galloway often says that “greatness is in agency of others” and there are few better examples of this than Dr. Anna Rozman!! A very heartfelt congrats Doc!!

Dr. Anna Rozman's journey to becoming a dual board-certified, fellowship-trained physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at Mount Sinai was a dedicated process, shaped by her personal experiences and commitment to helping others. Fleeing Russia, Dr. Rozman’s family made significant sacrifices for a better life. “We came as refugees and relied on others for support as we learned a new language and found jobs,” she recalls. Her parents eventually retrained as physicians, with her father having previously served as the physician for the Olympic swim team in Russia. They instilled a love of sports in Dr. Rozman and her brother, encouraging them to participate in cross country, gymnastics, soccer, basketball, volleyball, dance, and taekwondo. During college, Dr. Rozman sustained a brain injury while snowboarding, taking time off to recover with her father’s guidance and care. This journey ignited her passion for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) and Sports Medicine. In Spring 2023, Dr. Rozman joined Team USA as a physician volunteer for the parapowerlifting team, quickly becoming their go-to medical support at competitions and training camps. With 16 athletes across the U.S., she helps them manage injuries, nutrition, and recovery while guiding them through the qualifying events for the Paralympic Games. This year, she traveled to Mexico, Georgia, and Paris, supporting athletes like Iraq veteran Bobby Body and Ashley Dyce, who both qualified for the Paris 2024 Games. Unfortunately, her father passed away suddenly in January 2023 and never had the opportunity to see her represent Team USA. “I know he would be proud, and I am proud to follow in his footsteps,” she says. President Biden invited Dr. Rozman and members of Team USA to the White House to celebrate the success of the Paris Games. “From the moment my plane touched down in Paris until I left the White House lawn surrounded by Team USA jackets, it was an incredible honor to represent our country.” #WeFindAWay
