For the new Endpoint Privilege management (Require Support Approval) Option . if you want to know who approved file elevations for EPM via email notification using Log Analytics Workspace , you will not get this operation specifically. The only way for now is to check Intune audit logs from the portal.

The long awaited Support Approved elevation scenario for our #IntuneSuite Endpoint Privilege Management is there! Read more in the docs 🎉🎉🎉 #Intune #ModernManagement #IntuneEPM
Intune's Endpoint Privilege Management has a new file elevation type, support approved where it gives a third option for both the default elevation response and the elevation type for each rule. Unlike automatic or user confirmed, a support-approved elevation request requires Intune administrators to manage which files can run as elevated on a case-by-case basis. With support approved elevations, users can request approval to elevate an application that is not explicitly allowed for elevation by automatic or user approved rules. This takes the form of an elevation request that must be reviewed by an Intune administrator who can approve or deny the elevation request. When the request is approved, users are notified that the application can now be run as elevated, and they will have 24 hours from the time of approval to do so before the elevation approval expires. Check it out as part of what's new in the Intune service release of 2403 and read up more about it on our docs page below. https://lnkd.in/gAUccHkf

"80% of end users use software not cleared by IT" Honestly, I was surprised the figure was that low, until I read that this came from a Cisco report in 2016, pre-pandemic. If that same study was conducted today I'm sure the figure would be 92% or higher... Unauthorised software isn't just a headache to mange, it comes with a host of financial, security and compliance costs which often go unrecognised up until an incident occurs. And incident's do occur. According to IBM, 1 in 5 organisations have experienced a cyber event related to Shadow IT. Don't chance it, take control of your IT assets, using your existing systems. #Setyl #shadowIT #cybersecurity #ITAM
🆕 New feature: Automatically import assets, identify shadow IT and turn Setyl into your source of truth with a connection to your Datto or Kandji MDM. Our MDM and RMM connections allow you to discover and import assets — together with their specifications, installed software and assignees — into your Setyl account. These integrations now include Datto and Kandji. Existing out-of-the-box integrations also include Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, Jamf, Okta, JumpCloud, N-able N-central, Cisco Meraki, Snipe-IT, SimpleMDM, Google Endpoint Management, and Atera. #ITAM #ITAssetManagement #AssetTracking #ITManagement #SetylNewFeatures
