#FunFriday! 🎉 Yesterday, our Lived Experience ERG (Employee Resource Group) had its very first meeting! From sharing personal stories and offering advice, to karaoke, coloring, and just enjoying each other's company, the vibe was uplifting and full of support. 🎤🎨✨ Experiences United was created by our staff, for our staff – a safe space for everyone to share, heal, and support one another. As one team member said, “Healing hurts more than the wound,” reminding us that the path to healing can be tough, but we’re stronger together. 💙 This ERG is open to all employees, because we all carry some form of trauma and can support one another. Here’s to healing, growth, and a community that has each other’s backs every step of the way! 🙌 #StrongerTogether #Support #SafeSpace #HealingJourney #LifeatHF

Embracing the Tides: A Neurodiversity Celebration As we navigate the vibrant waves of Neurodiversity Celebration Week, it's a poignant reminder of our unique journeys. It's a time to honour the rich tapestry of thoughts and feelings that paint our world in brilliant colours. It's only Wednesday, and I can already feel the tapestry becoming a bit too vivid, a bit too intense. It's been a whirlwind of a week—amazing, emotional, and yes, overwhelming. But isn't it fascinating how our minds work? How they can carry us through such a spectrum of experiences in just a few days? In 12 days, I'll be embarking on a holiday, a much-needed respite to unwind and recharge. It's not about escaping the overwhelm; it's about embracing it and knowing when to step back and breathe. I'm looking forward to the stillness, even if stillness feels like a foreign concept to my restless spirit. I recall a day spent fishing on this beach, the tranquillity of the waves, and the joy of connection with family. It's a cherished memory that promises more to come. So here's to the beauty of our neurodiverse minds, to the strength found in acknowledging when we're overwhelmed, and to the peace that comes with the anticipation of restful times ahead. May we all find our calm in the chaos. May you find your moment of peace amidst the beautiful chaos of life. 🌊🎣🌞

Happy Saturday all. Welcome to our Saturday Neurodiversity Celebration from Jane! 'This week, I feel strongly that a bright light should be shone towards Neurodiversity. As Neurodiversity Celebration Week has an aim of sharing a positive light on the Neurodivergent community and celebrating differences, embracing diversity and understanding the strengths that neurodivergent individuals have, I’d like to share my thoughts on how amazing the neurodivergent community is. Neurodiversity is something to celebrate and accept. And it shouldn’t be just this week, it should be EVERYDAY. In my job as an online neurodivergent business support worker, I have the absolute privilege everyday to work with some amazing neurodivergent individuals of whom I am all so lucky to work with. Seeing the passion and desire they each have for their jobs, businesses and careers everyday is something I thoroughly enjoy. Working with neurodivergent individuals and offering a small level of support as they break boundaries, create positive environments and take their businesses and careers from strength to strength is something I’m so grateful I get to witness everyday. I’d like to thank my colleagues and clients for continuously spreading positivity around neurodivergence and for inspiring me at work everyday. And, as Neurodiversity Celebration Week ends, let’s strive to make everyday a celebration of neurodiversity!' Business owners and leaders of teams: invest in building resilience and collaboration skills for your teams. The short term investment yields infinite dividends for your company, your staff, your client relationships. Sharing this offering from Maria Gerea, PCC, and she describes the "why" of Team Connection Campfire programs: "As we are facing significant complexity and challenge....our capacity to navigate these times will be amplified by learning to lean into and lead with the collective. To learn how to create room for the individual AND the collective. Today I want to share with you a 1 page description of the culture-building, highly experiential Team Connection Campfire programs I am offering to do that....to connect groups of people working on the same goals into more alive and resilient collectives!"
Executive Coach | Leadership and Team Development Facilitator | A firestarter for your team’s sustainable innovation.
Every year the day before the New Year's Eve my father would call on our neighbors to join in a pre-New Year party, outside, in the condo building backyard... these were challenging times...food was rationed and freedom of speech even more so...These were the 80's in communist Romania... And every year they would gather around a bonfire, each contributing one item to make together a big feast. Many jokes were shared...and the community lived the rest of the year in anticipation of the next event. That event furthermore defined them...gave them an identity. A collective identity. My father called it the Golden New Year party... maybe an allusion to the Golden Era...we supposedly lived in, during Ceausescu's harshest years of dictatorship. I believe this experience instilled in me a deep knowing that people coming together is vital to our wellbeing, individually and collectively. Even more so during challenging times. Over time I have become what my father has been, for my different communities and workplaces. Over time I have naturally brought people together. It is one of my gifts. And this is a gift I have brought and want to continue to bring to my organizational clients... to help them learn to gather, to foster belonging and foster resilience, collectively. As we are facing significant complexity and challenge....our capacity to navigate these times will be amplified by learning to lean into and lead with the collective. To learn how to create room for the individual AND the collective. Today I want to share with you a 1 page description of the culture-building, highly experiential Team Connection Campfire programs I am offering to do that....to connect groups of people working on the same goals into more alive and resilient collectives! Please share this with people who might be interested!

👉#Follow Akash khan Supporting each other on life's journey is crucial for personal and collective growth. Human connections are fundamental to navigating the complexities of existence, offering both emotional and practical benefits. When people support one another, they create a network of encouragement and shared strength, which can significantly alleviate the burdens of life’s challenges. This support can take many forms—offering a listening ear, providing practical help, or simply being present during difficult times.Mutual support fosters resilience, making it easier to face adversity. It can transform obstacles into opportunities for growth by allowing individuals to share their struggles and gain different perspectives. This communal approach also enhances emotional well-being, reducing feelings of isolation and fostering a sense of belonging. When people feel supported, they are more likely to take risks and pursue goals, knowing they have a safety net. Moreover, support in the journey of life cultivates empathy and understanding. By being there for others, individuals develop a deeper appreciation of different experiences and challenges, enriching their own lives and relationships. This reciprocal nature of support strengthens communities and builds trust, essential for a harmonious society.Ultimately, life is a shared experience, and supporting each other is not just a moral duty but a practical necessity. It helps create a more compassionate, resilient, and interconnected world, where individuals are empowered to reach their full potential and navigate the journey of life with confidence. #SupportEachOther #CommunityStrength #EmpathyInAction #TogetherWeRise #LifeJourneySupport #SharedStrength #MutualSupport #BuildingResilience #HelpingHands #ConnectedTogether #StrengthInUnity #CompassionateLiving #TogetherWeGrow #SupportAndEmpower #StrengthThroughSupport

Sharing experiences, like the story of Christine Sakdalan, can address several challenges. It helps in breaking the stigma around mental health, encourages early diagnosis and treatment, and underscores the importance of support from caregivers. By sharing, individuals can find common ground, feel less isolated, and foster a community of understanding and empathy. #B4Stage4
"By openly sharing our experiences and opening our hearts, we hope to make the journey for people like my brother - and their families - a little bit easier to navigate in the future and not be ashamed to openly share the challenges and hope." - Christine Sakdalan

Supporting others is not just a kind gesture; it’s a powerful force that can transform lives and build stronger communities. Whether it’s offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, or simply being there for someone in need, supporting others is an excellent course of action with far-reaching benefits. When we support others, we create a ripple effect of positivity. Our actions inspire others to do the same, fostering a culture of kindness and compassion. Moreover, supporting others strengthens relationships and fosters a sense of belonging and connection. Furthermore, supporting others can lead to personal growth and fulfillment. It allows us to step outside of ourselves and empathize with the experiences of others. By understanding different perspectives and challenges, we become more empathetic and open-minded individuals. In today’s fast-paced world, where stress and uncertainty abound, the importance of supporting others cannot be overstated. Whether it’s a small act of kindness or a significant gesture of support, every effort makes a difference. So let’s make supporting others a priority in our lives and watch as our communities thrive and flourish together.

It tore down the remaining imposter syndrome that was left in me. What do you enjoy most about working here? Bruno: What l've loved so far has honestly been soaking in the culture of our workplace. I think everyone is encouraged and equipped to do their best in a supportive environment, as our workplace also prioritizes our physical and mental health. What are your hopes for the future of Family Connections NJ4S-Essex? Bruno: I want us to reach our highest protentional in service to our community, which can only be done if we all commit to taking the extra mile and exercising patience to do things the right way when necessary. What is your favorite thing to do outside of your work at Family Connections NJ4S-Essex? Bruno: I'm a musician, so aside from gigs, getting lost in some good music is my escape. Is there anything else you would like to share?
