Yesterday I enjoyed answering calls from customers, and it was a great reminder of what truly drives their decisions. Customers who call often engage in conversation and share how they found Ava Innes in their search for a UK-based manufacturer specialising in natural, sustainable bedding with products that align with their values while seeking a healthy sleep experience. What stood out most was their growing awareness of what contributes to better sleep. Many are choosing to move away from traditional feathers and down, seeking alternatives such as our cashmere guard hair and wool which is better for temperature regulation particularly when two share a bed. These conversations underscore the importance of understanding our customers' needs and priorities, not just as consumers but as individuals looking for comfort while balancing provenance, quality and sustainability concerns. A Gold Toothbrush is the core product - and of course Toothpaste + Mouthwash with ACTUAL gold in it. And 28.000 likes on his first TikTok about it. Is this gold rush gonna glitter or fizzle? Yet again, let’s sink our teeth into it. Luxury Brushing Experience: Introducing a gold-plated toothbrush to your morning routine is undeniably luxe. It screams opulence and is a statement piece in any bathroom. Can a premium toothbrush transform the mundane into the magnificent for the long haul? Or is it a one-time gimmick? Price Tag Prestige: Dropping $59 for a toothbrush? That's no pocket change. It's positioned to allure those with a penchant for luxury. It’s however just a drop in the ocean for the target group. No idea were this is gonna go tbh. Niche Appeal or Mass Miss?: Historically, luxury in oral care has not really taken off. Why? Because, when it comes down to it, efficacy trumps extravagance, and a toothbrush is a toothbrush - electrical gives added performance, this does... nothing. Overall, Aurezzi, backed by DJ Khaled's golden endorsement, is setting the stage for a lavish oral care revolution. But beyond the bling, the question stands — will this venture resonate broadly, or is it destined to be the pet project of a select few who prize luxury over utility? In my view, I am 100% sure that specialty channels can carry this a long way - private jets, luxury hotels, expensive spas. $59 is nothing with their rates, but gives further sparkle to the experience, which is invaluable. And there's probably enough people that will love this in their bathroom instagram pictures for it to be a potential success. Seriously tempted to try one...... but why?
