2 weeks ago I had the great opportunity to be part of our #RHSummit and there were many very emotional circumstances to celebrate, such as meeting in person with colleagues from all over the world and sharing an event like this once again with clients and business partners. On top of that, there was an additional satisfaction for me, which was being able to meet in person the Red Hatter that I have been sponsoring since the beginning of the year. She is based in Ireland and her name is Manjana Strey. The sponsorship is a new program at Red Hat and believe me that the experience of this journey together is amazingly positive. In the Red Hat Sponsorship Program, leaders are paired together with an associate to collaborate on growth opportunities, expand networks, increase visibility, and advocate for future opportunities. Sponsorship helps to support the progression of underrepresented talent within their careers and builds inclusive leadership skills within senior leaders. One of the topics on which we have worked a lot is on the broad concept of Diversity, equity, inclusion and a sense of belonging (DEIB) in a team, as well as the phases of building a high performance team.
