HM Payson & Co’s Post

As a multi-generational firm, we take the process of succession seriously, always aiming to give new leaders the time to grow and develop alongside those who came before them. The following promotions are just the latest example of that thoughtful and time-tested approach. Daniel M. Lay, Esq. named President: During his tenure with the firm, Dan has demonstrated leadership as a Portfolio Manager, Managing Director, member of the Board of Directors, and Director of Marketing. Dan’s vision and comprehensive understanding of our business have been instrumental in shaping HM Payson’s strategic direction while ensuring the Firm remains true to its core mission: serving the best interests of our clients and their families. Mike Currie named Chairman of the Board: As our President for almost two decades, Mike has guided HM Payson through unprecedented growth of the firm. We are fortunate that he will remain on the leadership team as Chairman of the Board. His ongoing presence, experience, and guidance will be vital as we look ahead to the future. Jay Flower Steps Up as Director of Marketing: Jay has long contributed to the firm not only in his role as Portfolio Manager, but also as a Shareholder and a key member of the Financial Planning Group and Marketing Committee. Already an indispensable member of the committee, Jay is looking forward to taking the lead.
