History was written today as India's chess prodigy, GM Gukesh Dommaraju, clinched the title of World Chess Champion at the young age of 18 and recorded it with a score of 7.5-6.5. This momentous occasion marks the end of a long journey for Gukesh as he brings about a new revolution in Indian chess history. The championship had 14 games, and both shared mostly the same score. The last game featured Kings Indian defense. The balance shifted when a small but decisive oversight by Ding Liren on move 55 (Rf2) gave him a chance to take over and win. The game went pretty intense, and it theoretically went towards a draw. Gukesh having a time advantage tried pushing ding on the clock. Congratulations to Gukesh, pride of India, and motivation for youths towards the new chess craze. #hitchessclub #64squares #chess #checkmate #haldiainstituteoftechnology #hithaldiaoffical #haldiaoffical #hittimes #hitinside #chess #worldchesschampionship #indianchessmaster #gukesh #congratulations #worldchampion #indianpride❤️

[#MiniCaseStudy- You be the judge?] Amul Marketing = #AlwaysTrending. 🤔 WHY? These 9 quirky things about the Amul mascot girl and the things she did for the brand Amul India. 🎯 The AMUL LITTLE GIRL IS 58 YEARS OLD😱 #Born in March, 1966 (...almost my mum's age!)- artists: Sylvester daCunha and Eustace Fernandes. 🎯 Did you know Amul has the #WorldRecord for the longest ad campaign?🏆 🫢 The Amul Gurl was launched in 1967 and I remember the World Record news was around '07 (I was in 6th when this news began spreading...) 🎯 Amul girl spoke about #everything from emergency to scams, movies, and even Kaun Banega Crorepati. This is called #MomentMarketing (Google Logo changes on important days/events? The same thing...but WAY before Google and its mothers tried!) 😍🧈🔊 🎯 Amul has a separate line of products with different color palettes and marketing assets for #DifferentAgeGroups (and even for demographics like Health-Conscious people!) 🌐 🤓 🎯 During #COVID19, Amul kinda served the sweet old ads of the '80s to most of us sitting at home, glued to big and small screens + Recipe Video Series (Crazy User-Generated-Content!). 📽️🎦 🎯 #AmulOriginStory has REVOLUTION written all over it: started as an awareness program for #farmers that eventually engaged in protests (as per #SardarVallabhaiPatel's guidances) against the monopolising brand Polson Dairy. 🧨🎇 🎯 Amul (GCMMF) was finally #registered in December, 1946. 📌 🎯 What was Amul's name before it was Amul? The Kaira District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd. 📜 🎯 The #MilkmanOfIndia- Dr.Verghese Kurien managed Amul from the 1950s. 👨🏻⚕️🥛 (these emojis are getting outta my hand 🥹... ...ChatGPT would've made better ones had I asked) Can you add the #10thOne? Maybe one of their such ads ick-ed you or blew your mind? Temme please! Here's a bonus 😲: Amul products are bought by retailers and businesses. So, B2B + D2C. THE main reason why they rockkk is their Fun #Mascot ...with a super witty side so she has a say in everything that's happening around!!! 🎯 Memorability 🎯 Relatability 🎯 Intrigue 🎯 Uniqueness 🎯 Authenticity 🎯 Bare, Raw, and Pure Marketing Genius! I got inspired after Shilpa Wadhwa Hora's post 🫡 on Amul last day...that I had to repost it and go into this rabbit hole too. ++Congrats on the new record, #India 🥰!

The attention the Chess champions from #India from recently concluded Chess Olympiad is receiving is heartening to watch. Hopefully, young India (and not so young) will be inspired by the good role models. Chess (earliest predecessor was possibly called Chaturanga) originated in India but well like so many things for a good while it was not a 'sport' that garnered attention. When we were growing up Soviet Union opened up Chess as sports in India and tried to popularise it. While they had the mighty Gary Kasparov and Gary Karpov, we had Dibyendu Barua to fall back on. Then #VishwanathanAnand happened to us. A trailblazer, he showed Indians have it in them to aim for the top :) I have very vaguely dabbled in it for a while. There are the key takeaways (which in my humble pov should be incorporated as life lessons): a) Life will test you. There is no 'chalta hain, adjust madi' that will keep saving you. Consequences matter. All moves count. As a result self discipline is extremely important to inculcate. b) You learn from your mistakes. Failures are sometimes the best teachers. The more you play, they more you learn. And yes, learn from the game others have played. There are lessons when you know how to look for them. All around you. c) Patience, focus, value of sacrifice and best utilisation of resources are traits you need to develop. It will not be easy, it is not meant to be easy. Whether the game or life overall. If you have your sight on the bigger picture, keep working diligently, smartly and with humility. It is a matter of time. We are witnessing a GOAT moment for Indian Chess! India has shattered records by dominating the 45th Chess Olympiad 2024 with Gold in both the Open and Women's Chess Olympiad. This olympiad was a series of Crazy matches such as Gukesh vs Wei Yi, and Fabiano Caruana. For the past 4 months, instead of scrolling through my Insta feed at night, I switched that time to playing chess. I can see a noticeable change in my thinking, constantly looking out for possibilities. What I love most is that chess, much like life, teaches you to make the best move with your current resources and position. No point cribbing, just strategize and act. Indian chess is thriving! Excited for Gukesh Vs Ding Liren Keep making those winning moves. #IndianChess #ChessOlympiad2024 #GOATMoment #GoldenEra #ChessChampions #GameOfChess #MindsetMatters #StrategicThinking #InnovateAndOptimize #Motivation

Unstoppable: How Team India Conquered 193 Nations in Chess with Time-Bending Performance!" What happens when the brilliance of an entire nation takes on 193 countries in the world's most strategic game? You witness time travel in action as Team India in chess rewrites history! In an 11-round tournament, it’s survival of the fittest. The higher you rise, the stronger your opponents. You start against lower-seeded teams in the early rounds, but soon, you're up against the world's best. Round after round, Team India conquered every challenge, as the numbers dropped: Round 1: 190 teams fall to 95. Round 2: 95 becomes 43. Round 3: 40 whittles down to 21. And by Round 6, the toughest competition stood in their path. Yet, India didn’t just rise—they dominated, securing 21 out of 22 points. Out of 44 games played, they lost only ONE match! At one point, the question wasn’t who could beat them, but how could anyone—unless you assembled a team from another planet or combined players from every other nation. Remember when Michael Phelps seemed to defy time with his eight Olympic gold medals in 2008? This was India’s Phelps moment in chess, winning two team gold and four individual gold medals. A historic feat, a statement to the world—we’ve arrived, and the chess world may never be the same again. What is Team India's motivating factor? After winning bronze in 2022, they were not too happy as they missed gold by just one point. The slogan for the 2024 Olympiad was ' We will go hungry for gold to Hungary.' Watch 30 minutes of Gukesh's interview (gold medalist of the first board, which is the most challenging position for the team). Link: https://lnkd.in/dqnJiqtS After watching the interview, I promise you will not be the same person but wholly transformed and inspired. Can you believe one person who played ten Olympiads (20 Years) to convert dreams into reality? The player gave importance to playing team events rather than pursuing personal excellence. I will share a story of patience soon. Bravo, Team India! #geniusgrowth #careertransformation
