In some cases, employers may not be fully transparent with employees, whether it’s about workplace conditions, compensation, or company goals.
This lack of transparency can create a sense of mistrust.
The stats tell us North West workers don’t trust leaders; that’s 7 out of 10 people. I’m a business leader and I can’t stomach that. 🫣
Listening Groups help us to uncover your truth.
1. Wages and Benefits: Sometimes, employers may downplay financial issues, such as wage stagnation or diminishing benefits, while emphasizing growth in other areas.
2. Work-Life Balance: Many companies promote a healthy work-life balance but may expect long hours, making it difficult for employees to truly disengage from work.
3. Company Culture: Employers may promote a strong, inclusive company culture but in reality, the day-to-day environment might be more stressful than advertised. And they’ll vote with their feet, leaving their jobs in response to their dissatisfaction.
While this isn't true for all employers, it does happen in some workplaces. A transparent, fair, and open environment is always the ideal but can be hard to find.
My aim is to find these gems in the North West. 🙏
What we do matters. It’s not just an employee survey.
Does your employer pull the wool over your eyes?
Or is your employer totally transparent and fair?
