Hines is proud to announce that our interim net zero target has been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. Supported by partners like the United Nations Global Compact and the World Resources Institute, the SBTi validates that our targets meet stringent standards to help reduce greenhouse gases and limit global heating. To achieve our science-based goals of net zero by 2040, we are working to reduce carbon throughout our portfolio by: → Electrifying fossil fuel-based systems within our buildings → Utilizing circular systems principles to reduce energy waste and increase system efficiency → Pursuing onsite and off-site renewables that promote sustainable energy development Read more about how we're reducing our impact on the planet in our firmwide ESG Report: https://bit.ly/3Ydnx5c #ESGatHines #Sustainability #RealEstate Michael Izzo
