I have been working with #WIKAIndia for over 18 months now and have seen the #marketing team expanding from just 3 people to over 10 team members. After carefully observing and giving some time to understand what made the newly hired team members stand out from the other candidates, I could identify the following points: - They have an eye for detail. - They have a clear vision and focus in mind. - They are well-aware of their job responsibilities. - They are ready to accept new challenges. - Teamwork is in the spirit. Of course, there might have been some “ifs and buts” and no one is perfect. It takes time to fit perfectly into the company’s culture. And, Prashant Sinha knows it well! Let me know what factors do you consider when hiring a new candidate? May be, it will help! Coz the process hasn’t stopped yet! 😀😉 #TeamBuilding #Hiring #Growth

Embracing Growth Through Challenges: My Journey with Zenskar I recently completed the interview process for a Solutions Engineer role at Zenskar, which consisted of four rigorous rounds over the past half month. The first round involved general aptitude and logical reasoning, followed by an assignment requiring me to work on a problem statement using their billing product based on product documentation. In the third round, I interviewed with the product manager, where I wrote SQL queries on the spot. The final round was an interview with the CTO, where I discussed my previous roles and experience with customer interaction. While I successfully navigated the first three rounds, I faced challenges in effectively communicating my previous roles during the final interview. Despite my experience as an NPD engineer in the manufacturing sector, I struggled to articulate how my background translated to the tech industry, which impacted my candidacy. Although I didn't secure the role, I am grateful for the experience. It reinforced the importance of strong communication skills alongside technical expertise. I realize now that being able to convey one's experience clearly and confidently is crucial, especially in roles that require customer interaction. This journey has been a valuable learning experience, and I am optimistic about the future. I firmly believe that every opportunity, successful or not, helps us grow and prepares us for the next step. God has better plans for us(better than what we think is better for us). Stay positive #interview #staypositive #techinterview #communicationskills #jobstruggle #rejection #techindustry #failure #optimistic #jobsearch

I have gone through lot of struggle in the beginning of career and it helped me to take decision based on my area of interest irrespective of any company or position. Layoff is common in most of the companies including MNCs because of business reasons. One has to work proactively for career plan. I have following points related to this : 1: One can't change past but can learn from that experience. 2: There can be many factors based on your educational background, professional career, hard and soft skills . 3: Your next step should be based on point #2. 4: The best approach can be incremental learning based on past experience. 5: You should share your educational background, skills, total experience, target salary and preferred locations. Hope this helps . Answer to I recently got layoff in Byjus. I want to settle in life. My age is 42. I couldn’t clear Meesho’s Interview during my Job hunt journey. But one of my juniors did. Why Am I sharing this? Here’s a backstory.. One day, I received a message from one of my BITS juniors asking about Meesho’s APM interview process and if I could share any tips for the same. Because I didn’t have much time, I shared with them 2-3 voice notes over WhatsApp about my experience, mistakes and resources which can help them do better. This done, I received a message 2 months later (attached below) and that just my day happy. I self doubt about a lot and a lot of us do. But sharing what we know, can go a long way. #productmanager #carrer #jobs #jobhunt #path

Do you know why people from #bhubaneswar moving to other states? Let me share my experience I have applied for a job with well known company at #Bhubaneswar and after a month of my messages being “seen” and ghosted, I finally received a response today. The #recruiter’s replied after an msg "I saw your profile bt it's not align with our requirement. Those candidates whose cv were selected, We called them. There will be a certain process. I hope you understand." Me - "I noticed you haven't responded to my messages. Can you explain the valid reason for my rejection?" Recruiter replied - "Lots of people message us, it's not possible every time we reply. Apart from recruitment we have a lot of work." #NoConstructiveFeedback, #NoValidReason, #DirectlyRejecting few companies are not even releasing the #Salaries to the employees. This is exactly why so many skilled people from #Bhubaneswar, #Odisha, and similar hometowns end up leaving everything behind to work in #Bangalore, #Pune, #Hyderabad, and beyond. It’s not because they want to leave their #families or give up on the comfort of home. It’s because they’re tired of chasing clarity, transparency, and the basic respect they deserve in the professional world. Imagine the sacrifices — leaving parents, navigating new cities, enduring homesickness — all for the chance at an opportunity that appreciates their skills and actually communicates with them. 📈 To every professional who’s taken this leap of faith, who’s moved away from their roots, not because it’s easy but because it’s necessary: I see you. 🙌 And to those wondering why their hometowns lose talent… well, maybe it’s time to reflect on the hiring and work culture back home. The real question is, how many more will follow before we realize the price of neglecting our own talent? 💭 #RecruitmentReality #RespectTalent #ProfessionalismMatters #LeavingHomeForGrowth #LinkedInThoughts #JobSearchJourney #LinkedInCommunity #Share #Bhubaneswar #SaturdayPost

Well right now I am going to open all the shackles which was being residing within myself and apparently it made me lose the confidence that I had on myself and also the self-belief which I build by working with amazing people. I have started my journey as an HR Recruiter (Executive) in Tech Mahindra and this company gave me everything. I have got certain recognition; I have got rewarded and I have got opportunities to meet and interact with all the big names but most importantly what this organization gave me is the best people. I have learnt a lot from those wonderful human beings and all credits goes to this renowned organization but as I said in the start, I am going to open all the shackles and why this post is important because of the reason I have left Tech Mahindra and joined Dexian India Services Private Limited as a Senior Executive HR, but I didn't know I made a mistake. If I talk about the company there's nothing wrong, the organization is very good, but I didn't know I was working under people who are ill-mannered and doesn't know the word called "appreciate". I won't take their name here as I believe in keeping modesty confidential, but I would really like to inform all the other people that it's not always about how big the organization is and how big the brand is. It's always about the people who are working with you in a team. I will appreciate Dexian India for giving me great opportunity, but I have lost all my confidence just because I was not under right people. The trajectory of my growth went way down, and I know there are certain people who will question me and will say that I am trying to hide my failure, but I like to flaunt my failure gracefully and I flaunt this like a T-shirt or shirt and not like a tuxedo. I was emotionally drained as I use to get insulted daily as they questioned about my brain and also my personality and character. In the end, I would just like to say that take a break before hopping for any offer or chances. Give yourself time and wait for the right moment. It's good to be jobless than to be with wrong people and losing all your self-belief and peace of mind. I stand for my self-respect, and I will always do the same. Just to conclude, Dexian India as a company is very good and shines because of its massive presence.

APM-2 Experience at Meesho ⭐️ This was one of the companies I interviewed for during the job hunt process. Where did I find the opening? On LinkedIn How did I get the interview? Through referrals Rounds? Round 1: Intro round with group PM This was an intense round involving discussions around my candidature fit for Meesho and the work expectations. Round 2: Live SQL problem solving This was with the PM in the company to test SQL knowledge. It was a live SQL problem-solving round on Hackerrank. While I don't remember the actual questions, these were the topics: 👉Joins 👉Subqueries 👉WITH statement and sorting I was able to solve 2 out of 3 questions hence couldn't make it to further rounds. Follow me for deep-diving into real PM interviews. I’ll be sharing a detailed SQL learning guide in the upcoming posts. #interviews #jobhunt #layoffs #meesho #productmanager #pmjobs #experience
