Be Kind Be Grateful #34 – Create an alumni group where colleagues share stories of kindness and its impact, inspiring others to pay it froward and continue the cycle of good will. #33 – With Christmas coming, if you have toys that your children do not play with anymore, consider giving them to charities or goodwill stores so less fortunate children can have a toy under the tree this year. #32 – If you have unredeemed loyalty points that will not be used, if available, consider donating them to charity rather than having them expire. #31 – Hosting a holiday party, rather than say to your quests, please bring nothing. Help your local food bank and ask them to bring a non-perishable food item. Set out a box at your front door and see what your family and friends give back to the community. I think you will be surprised. #30 – Put together a ‘Health and Happiness Box’ for a teacher, pastor, or a person in need. This box might have some home baked cookies, healthy snacks, candle, bath salts and a note of thanks. Please share and add other comments or suggestions to the list.

The other day, a friend asked me if I had any items to donate for her charity drive? Absolutely!!💯 I agreed to put some things together. One thing led to another, and I started asking around my neighborhood if anyone else wanted to pitch in - after all, we are stronger in numbers. 💪 🫶 My friend offered to pick up the items from my home, which made the process so much easier – so I offered the same service to others who were willing to donate. As I was looking through some posts on my neighborhood Facebook group, I realized a lot of people had questions about the donation process. The main questions were: where to donate and what items would be in demand? ❓ That got me thinking: when the holiday season is in full swing, we all become a little more thankful for the blessings we have and more aware of those who are not as lucky. 🙏 I realized that people want to help and contribute, but the biggest obstacle is the unknown. 🫤 In fact, the number ONE reason why people might not donate is lack of awareness. Many aren’t sure where to donate, what to donate, or how to help effectively. To make the donation process simple and accessible, because every small act of kindness counts, I decided to make the process easier by creating a simple guide. Let's make a difference this season and all year round! 👏 - KD 💗 #HolidayGiving #CommunitySupport #MakeADifference #SeasonOfGiving #Volunteer #CharityDrive #GivingBack

Critics say, 'True charity is done in silence.' But here's a perspective: Every time you share that beach sunset, you inspire someone to travel. When you post your fitness journey, you motivate others to get healthy. Then why not normalize sharing the good we do? That photo of you at a beach cleanup might inspire ten others to join next time. Your post about monthly donations to a shelter could remind someone to support their local community. That story about teaching underprivileged kids could spark a chain of volunteer sign-ups. I say - DO IT! Not to show off, but to show up – for causes that matter, for communities that need support, for changes we wish to see. Because sometimes, all it takes is one post to turn inspiration into action. So next time you help someone, consider sharing it. Your 'show-off' post might just be someone else's wake-up call to give back. SikhAid Charitable Trust
