The GOV.UK Clean Power Action Plan recognises that developing a flexible power system to accommodate and store Britain’s renewable resources is central to delivering a decarbonized grid by #2030 💥. Our #LDES 🔋 technology is a key enabler of this goal – with the ability to supply electricity ⚡ continuously from several hours to up to several days without recharge, replacing existing flexibility from unabated gas and alleviating grid constraints 🚧. We welcome the elements of the report that support faster deployment of LDES including increased #financing, a commitment to supporting #innovation and expediting #grid connections and consents ✅. Through removing barriers to growth, a #decarbonized power grid by 2030 is possible.
