𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 2500+ 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬! 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧! It has been more than 4+ years since I started my personal branding journey, and I have helped 120+ clients across four countries. Here are four killer strategies that work 100%: 1) Figure out your most engaged time of the day. Post on that time and engage with your community. 2) Be consistent. Don't post once a week and ghost. Try to post a minimum of 3 posts. 3) Be real. In the world of ChatGPT, we all crave authenticity. 4) Strategy is more important then posting. Make sure you work on your content based on TOFU,MOFU and BOFU. LinkedIn is ruled by only 1% and rest 99% are not able to generate sales from the platform. If used well, it brings a sea of opportunities. If not, you are missing out on a lot. . . . #linkedinbranding #personalbranding

Controversial thought… if you don’t have ‘time’ to show up online and share your thoughts [so you outsource to chatgpt to generate your mediocre mostly identical posts on your behalf] because you think merely showing up is ‘building a personal brand’ then, I don’t think you should be there at all. The best brands don’t happen just by being here – by being a face that pops up sharing daily regurgitated hindsights, the best brands are engaging, valued, and authentic. I mean sure, if you’re into vanity metrics and a high follower count is your #lifegoal, don’t hold back. Spam us with the copy-paste drivel (I will politely unfollow, tyvm). But if you’re genuinely trying to solidify your reputation as a thought leader, or someone with interesting and helpful things to say that will improve someone else’s career-life, outsourcing to a robot (or anyone really) isn’t going to get you far. It all comes down to your purpose and goals. What is your end game? Thumbs get you precisely diddly squat. But a following of highly engaged, enlightened folks who find your content entertaining, interesting, motivating and inspiring is what gets you to your end game – be it an engaged candidate or client pool, a constant stream of converting leads, invites to podcasts, webinars and speaking gigs, referrals, a community you can turn to for problem solving and collaboration – whatever it is you NEED. Forget the superficial $hit. Forget the ‘building a personal brand is a box to tick.’ I promise you there are people out there with 100,000 followers who are penniless. And there are people with 1000 engaged followers who sleep restfully on pillows of 💵 💵💵 The difference is quality and connection. Don’t have anything meaningful to say? Don’t. Got cool and interesting thoughts, insights and experiences people will value and enjoy? Fill my feed. But please, value the creation process. Instead of, ‘I don’t have time to write the awesome things I’d like to say…’ switch that mindset to – ‘If I spend an hour every week writing meaningful posts and connecting with my community, I will SAVE (x hours) time, (x advertising $) money, and strands of thinning hair.’ Because the more that the bots and genai take over the internet, the critically more important your REAL RAW and INTERESTING human reputation will matter. Building a #personalbrand seems like the eventual goal with this platform, but how do you get started? I wish I had the right answers or perhaps a curated list of statistics that may inspire you or guide you through this process. But here's what I have been struggling to share, hopefully it's something profound that you've stumbled upon scrolling through LinkedIn on the first day of the week. 1) Sometimes out here it always feels like you are going to miss the train. So you jump in, trying to be a part of the conversation but deep down it doesn't feel one bit authentic. And it's not about the formal tone, it's a professional platform afterall and yet a lot of posts seem like a hurried attempt of being consistent with a quick help from ChatGPT. 2) I am no expert or specialist at anything just yet, and I am still learning about the world of advertising and marketing, slowly forming a voice of my own, so I am often unsure if I have anything valuable to add here. So I choose to share campaigns and posts that truly resonate with me. 3) While many are great with keeping their conversations and thoughts concise, I am quite aware I'm not exactly good at it. I often go into great lengths and details which takes time to say what I have to, just like this post. I sometimes find it a bit difficult to strike a balance between not sharing too many words and keeping it brief. Are you too on the fence about posting more consistently and actively on #Linkedin? Is it a platform that connects you with the right people or a platform that makes you feel more disconnected than ever?
