AA Flight Attendants are the best in the industry. AA if you appreciate your employees, step up! During the pandemic, the crews of American Airlines stepped up to keep the airline operational. The country should appreciate that fact. Now, as American Airlines enjoys record profits and full planes, many flight attendants find themselves eligible for welfare. This disparity is highlighted by the documented evidence provided by AA to assist flight attendants in applying for government aid. Despite receiving billions in federal support to remain in business, the airline underpays its flight attendants to the point where they need additional government assistance. Flight attendants' roles are crucial, often making the difference between life and death, and involve working 15-hour days without adequate breaks. It's time for the federal government to waive the limitations of transportation employees in the Railroad Act and allow them the right to strike. Step up, American! You owe it to your team!! Congress, please waive the limitations and let them strike since AA refuses to negotiate in good faith. #APFA #AmericanAirlines #AAFlightAttendants #USCongress Brad Wenstrup Rob Portman Friends Of Sherrod Brown Mike DeWine American Airlines

As an instructor at FlightSafety, I attended a few classes in the Cabin Safety division. I learned SO much. As you know I’m a “big picture” guy. And the first thing that hit me was, we don’t train as a crew….Pilots and Flight Attendants do not train together. Before taking those classes, I didn’t even know what manuals they had. At that particular time, the only place the Lithium Battery fire mitigation procedure lived was in the flight attendant resources. Not available in the pilot resources. Pilots didn’t train using the cabin manual at the time. We didn’t even know if we had it. So when I left the training I thought it might be an opportunity to create a training program. No one had the time. And we were in the middle of major renovations. But we did improve access to cabin manuals. There are some operations that do not have flight attendants. I don’t recommend it, but if you go that route take the cabin safety classes. I decided to sit down and write “Fusion.” The collaborative training of pilots and flight attendants. In it, I snuck a whole bunch of cool equipment available for fire forecasting and mitigation. Smoke and fire forecasting is by far one of the most valuable safety skills you can learn. Mostly due to the fast pace in which it can incapacitate occupants of an airplane. Sometimes we do what we do because that’s how we have done it. And there’s a strain on time and resources for nearly every area of aviation. It’s organized chaos 24/7. But it is extremely rewarding and interesting work. I encourage training as a crew. Even if it’s just at the hangar going through scenarios. The idea is to have a process. And consider an SOP that may not have been considered when the aircraft was certified. Fly safely. Remember. Your flight attendants are Cabin Safety Officers first. They do the rest from the heart. If you want a demo of “Fusion” give me a shout. I can come to you. https://lnkd.in/eFX4v4G2

Business Aviation has its own set of rules distinct from commercial aviation, despite both involving flying an aircraft from one point to another. A significant and contentious aspect of the corporate industry is the role of Flight attendants, compared to cabin crew members. The topic is vast and complex, with numerous nuances across different countries. The focus of this video is to elucidate the general variances between the two roles. In essence, Cabin Crew members hold a cabin crew license or attestation, while flight attendants aboard private jets are hosts who do not require such credentials to perform their duties. Although including less authority and responsibility than a Cabin Crew, the role of a VIP flight attendant has its unique set of challenges and rewards, tailored to the specific demands of private aviation. Still with safety as top priority, the VIP flight attendant role places a significant emphasis on high-end customer service, gourmet meal preparation, and the ability to cater to the specific preferences of high-profile clients. They might also be responsible for the presentation and cleanliness of the aircraft, ensuring that every detail meets the elevated standards expected in the realm of private aviation. #privatejetcoach #flightattendant #cabincrew #privatejet #businessaviation https://lnkd.in/dqHAeue9
