Regardless of one's perspective on relative artistic merits, the business model continues to undergo massive change and continuous transformation. Will be interesting to see if/where/when it "settles" for a season. "The industry is back to where it was 20 years ago, with streaming platforms relying on a glut of reality TV shows and safe programmes, bolstered by advertising, that no longer champion the creative freedom that them in the first place." #entertainmentindustry #tv #businesstransformation #transformation #askbetterquestions #betterworkingworld

I have clients & friends who spend $200+ on TV each month. We spend $33 (Netflix & Hulu) so I wanted to start sharing what I’m streaming to show you there’s always something to watch, even if you only spend $33 a month. 😁💰 With my new phone I got a free 3 months with Apple+ so we finally were able to watch Ted Lasso!!! Woo hoo! 🎉 Let me know if you’ve seen either of these suggestions & what you thought. #effortlessbudgeting #personalfinance #netflix #hulu #tedlasso #savemoney

The return of advertising ↳ First Netflix, then Amazon, then Disney+ 2. Bundled packages ↳ Sky bundling Paramount+ and Netflix ↳ Discovery bundling Disney+, Hulu and Max ↳ Comcast bundling Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV+) 3. Programming formats ↳ Live events (comedy, sports) ↳ Weekly episode drops, etc At this rate, it won't be long before Netflix relaunches Teletext... ---------------------------------- 🤓 Useful?
