Day 51: Question: Reverse String Write a function that reverses a string. The input string is given as an array of characters s. You must do this by modifying the input array in-place with O(1) extra memory. Example 1: Input: s = ["h","e","l","l","o"] Output: ["o","l","l","e","h"] Example 2: Input: s = ["H","a","n","n","a","h"] Output: ["h","a","n","n","a","H"] Answer Approach: For solving this question, We should go through below steps: 1. Initialize two pointers, `left` and `right`, pointing to the start and end of the array respectively. 2. Iterate over the array while `left` is less than `right`. 3. Inside the loop, swap the characters at `left` and `right` indices. 4. Move `left` pointer one step forward and `right` pointer one step backward. 5. Repeat steps 2-4 until `left` becomes greater than or equal to `right`. 6. The input array `s` is reversed in-place. Day 69: Question: Permutation || Given a collection of numbers, nums, that might contain duplicates, return all possible unique permutations in any order.   Example 1: Input: nums = [1,1,2] Output: [[1,1,2],  [1,2,1],  [2,1,1]] Example 2: Input: nums = [1,2,3] Output: [[1,2,3],[1,3,2],[2,1,3],[2,3,1],[3,1,2],[3,2,1]] Answer Approach: For solving this question, (Using backtracking) Firstly sorting the input array to ensure that duplicate elements are adjacent, then implementing a backtracking algorithm to recursively generate all permutations while skipping duplicate elements by checking if the current element is the same as the previous one and if the previous element has not been used before, and finally storing each complete permutation in a result list and returning the list once all permutations have been generated. Responding to a simple human written request, Devin can build and deploy apps end to end including autonomously carrying out QA/ QE on human written code and fix the issues discovered.   For syntax, API's and constructs which are not familiar to Devin, through it's own browser, it can look up blogs and material, and learn how to deliver the human's request.   As a company with series A funding ($21m) and similar companies under construction, this area is likely to grow into a disruptive capability. Interesting that Devin has not done any work on their own website!? Their auth mechanism is based on another Auth service provider, Clerk. The blog is a static site (probably generated from Markdown). The contact form is via Google Forms. Jobs site is on ashby. If this thing is as great as they claim, why is their own website so blank and why are they relying on other services so much, especially for basic tasks which can be done by an average developer in a day or two?

#FactCheck: Google is not abandoning #Python in favor of AI-maintained code. ⚠️ Claim: Google is saying goodbye to it's Python dev team and replacing it with AI-maintained code. What's True ✅ - Google has laid off their Python Foundation team - The laid-off team was asked to train their replacements in the Munich office - Google also had layoffs in their finance dept recently, with some roles moved to lower-cost locations What's False ❌ - There is no evidence Google is abandoning Python as a programming language - The layoffs appear to be cost-cutting measures, not a shift away from Python - Python remains a critical part of Google's codebase and infrastructure. Bottom line: The layoffs are unfortunate, but they do not signal that Google is moving away from Python in favour of AI-written code. Python is still core to much of Google's work. These are some excellent observations. If this "first AI software engineer" is so "state-of-the-art", can pass engineering interviews ("from leading AI companies", however that's relevant), and "has even completed real jobs on Upwork"...why aren't they dogfooding it for their own website? Or if they are...is this really that impressive?
