LinkedIn have released their 2024 'Future of Recruiting' report and it's no surprise to see a lot of focus on skills! Some key points: - Nearly three-quarters of recruiting pros say skills-based hiring is a priority. - Quality of hire is the biggest priority for the coming years. - More companies are prioritising soft skills; 6 of the 10 most sought-after skills are soft skills. - Employers are increasingly focused on hiring individuals whose values align with the company’s principles and mission. - 5 biggest challenges for the next 5 years include attracting/retaining Gen Z; finding candidates with the right hard skills; and finding candidates with the right soft skills.
