Poverty is most commonly defined by income. However, for most children, it encompasses much more than just financial constraints. Child poverty is a global phenomenon and not only a problem in low and middle-income countries. More than 69 million children live in poverty in 39 of the world’s richest countries, showing that national wealth does not guarantee that a country will prioritize the fight against child poverty.
Join the upcoming webinar on Child Poverty in High-Income Countries, organized by the Global Coalition to End Child Poverty, Today, September 4th, 1PM (GMT+1). This webinar will discuss the latest figures and explore effective policies, such as cash transfers and access to basic services, to combat child poverty. Don't miss this important
conversation.
