So happy to stumble across this article which filled me with rays of optimism for 2024. 😎 Given the last few months, these figures, to me, just prove that we MUST persist. We MUST continue with the targets and goals we have set for this year. These figures, to me, show the importance of keeping our heads above the clutter, above the chitchat on how challenging the market is, how difficult this time is for everyone etc. and just keep going. So to all my colleagues and friends,just keep going, that's all. :-) Israeli Tech Funding Soars in January 2024 Israeli tech startups had a strong start to 2024, raising $473 million in funding in January, according to a new report. This represents a 75% increase compared to January 2023. The biggest funding round of the month went to cybersecurity company Silverfort, which raised $116 million. Other notable deals include $39 million raised by Bluewhite to bring autonomous innovation to farms and $35 million raised by Oasis Security to address non-human identity security challenges. The strong funding numbers reflect continued investor confidence in the Israeli tech sector. This is due in part to the country's strong track record of producing successful startups, as well as its growing pool of experienced entrepreneurs and engineers. The January funding figures are a positive sign for the Israeli tech sector in 2024. With continued investment and innovation, Israeli startups are well-positioned to continue to grow and succeed in the global market.
