As we step into October, a month dedicated to passion and purpose, we want to take a moment to reflect on what that truly means for us as women navigating both life and business. We all know the challenges and hardships that inevitably arise along the way. But when we anchor ourselves in what truly lights us up—our passion and the purpose we're meant for—something incredible happens. We gain the ability to transcend the obstacles and avoid getting stuck in the spaces that hold us back from creating the lives we desire. Passion and purpose give us the strength to keep moving forward, to speak into our possibilities. Yes, it's essential to honor the experiences of our challenges, but it’s equally important to remain women who are deeply connected to our visions. We believe in ourselves more than we give space to tearing ourselves down. We advocate for what matters most, and we listen to that inner voice guiding us toward what we need, want, and desire. The more we take time to truly know ourselves, the more our passion reveals itself, and the more our purpose shines through. Women gear up - “All Achievers on Stage” pic should not look like this. March 8 is fast approaching and forums will get into a race to shine light on “#WomenEntrepreneurs” but that’s not the kind of attention we need. In fact I wish to see a world where we don’t need such separate celebrations. Let’s get recognised at equal forums. In a country where businesses, banks, hospitals, educational institutions are led by women we may want to start calling out organisers that conduct events without women speakers and royally ignore celebrating our women entrepreneurs and leaders generally and then rush on 8th March to “celebrate women empowerment”. Event Organisers learn to be #inclusive.

Today, in recognition of International Women's Day, we celebrate our founders, Adrianna Sekula and Jo Newell! 🥳 🤔 Did you know that despite women constituting over half of the United States population, the ownership of businesses by women stands at just 40%? In Central Florida, this figure drops even further to a mere 20%. However, there is promising progress, with both the percentage of women-owned businesses and minority-owned businesses steadily climbing each year. ⛰️ Nonetheless, women continue to face obstacles in getting access to start and successfully run and scale their businesses. With this in mind, we challenge our followers to look for ways to amplify and support women-owned and founded businesses today, and always. Share their posts, recommend their names in conversation, offer to be a mentor, and connect them with key contacts.
