In the first of this three part origin story series, I write about the journey I had prior to Jeeon, how it led to a deep disillusionment about how we approach global public health, and what I learned the first time I tried to look at healthcare through the eyes of the people. https://lnkd.in/eWGpRxJD Please read, subscribe and share if you find it useful.

We need to take the #longevity conversation to mainstream application, our series Reverse the church that will go into a very popular church and change health outcomes should feature #longevity, research is great and needed but its time to make real life applications, how powerful would it be to see all thats been done up to now in real time in people's lives. We dont want the longevity conversation to become just conferences and seminars around the world. Coming soon https://lnkd.in/eE-SYVPx Brandi Kasperski

"Given that the social determinants of health inequalities are potentially modifiable, community engagement interventions can play a key role in the reduction of health inequalities. The evaluation of such interventions suggests they offer the ability to identify health inequalities and particular aspects that are uniquely identifiable through community participation." There are far too many articles that reinforce the need for healthcare entities to better engage with communities to eliminate health disparities. This article does an excellent job of highlighting not merely the "what" that is necessary but also the "how" to create the level of engagement and trust that is required to initiate and sustain the work. #DEI #diversityequityinclusion #healthequity #healthdisparities

Leadership in health services is a concept that articulates the ability to improve the provision of services with the understanding of the context, involving different actors whose ultimate objective is to promote changes for the benefit of the population.
