As I reflect on my journey with #HCLTech, I can't help but feel immense gratitude for how this incredible organization has shaped my personal and professional evolution. From the moment I joined, HCLTech welcomed me with open arms, offering not just a job, but an opportunity to continuously grow, learn, and transform. One of the most profound experiences in my journey has been through the 'Supercharged Ambassadors program'. This initiative has been a catalyst for my growth, providing the unique opportunity to connect with some of the brightest minds and thought leaders in the industry. The chance to meet with leaders and veterans who have paved the way in their respective fields has been nothing short of inspiring. Yesterday, I had the privilege of engaging in a truly enlightening conversation with Alan Flower, who heads AI and Cloud Native Labs at HCLTech. Alan’s perspective, shaped by over 40 years of experience, opened my eyes to the incredible potential of AI and the broader evolution of technology. His insights on how AI empowers us to reinvent ourselves and unlock new possibilities were truly transformative. Alan shared an example that particularly resonated with me: "There was a time when feeding and tending to horses was a highly lucrative job in England, but with the rise of the automobile and technological advancements, the nature of work shifted". His point was clear: AI isn’t here to replace jobs, but to empower us to collaborate with technology and unlock new opportunities for innovation and progress. His words have reshaped my mindset. Rather than fearing change, we should embrace it. The real question is, How can each of us, individually, leverage AI to elevate our work and contribute to a better future? Post our discussion, my curiosity got the better of me, and I've taken the first steps in diving deeper into the world of AI—especially from an ethical perspective and how it aligns with Risk Management principles. I am excited to explore how AI can be harnessed responsibly, ensuring we strike the right balance between innovation and risk mitigation. I am deeply grateful for the experiences, the wisdom shared, and the ongoing opportunities to learn and grow here at HCLTech. The journey towards self-actualization is not a solitary one, and I’m thankful to be part of an organization that encourages each of us to reach our fullest potential.
