Agentic AI is emerging as a disruptor - not necessarily to software companies - but more predominantly to service providers. Think "Software-as-a-Service" moving to "Services-as-Software" Agentic AI offers greater autonomy and decision-making capabilities, making it uniquely suited to tackle modern AI-driven threats. Whilst a lot is made about AI Agents in SOC outcomes, the biggest implications are likely to be in the automation and analysis of GRC use-cases and a disruption of the services market. Agentic AI is already showing the benefits to cyber by: 🎨 Enhancing Threat Detection: Processing vast volumes of alerts in real-time, identifying and responding to threats like AI-generated phishing or malware without the need for pre-scripted instructions. 🎨 Dynamic Response: Dynamically initiating further actions such as launching endpoint detection and response (EDR) investigations, much like a human analyst would. 🎨 Scalability: Ensuring that no threat goes unnoticed, providing a robust defense against the ever-evolving cyber landscape. However, it's biggest use-case will be the targeted disruption of the services market, with the ability to expedite multiple assessments and reviews across a range of outcomes - from #vulnerabilitymanagement to #GRC For one of the more comprehensive articles on Agentic AI and it's intersection with Cyber, read more below. #AI #CyberSecurity #Innovation #DataSecurity #TechTrends #AgenticAI #Cyber #Security #riskmanagement
