Today, the Governor signed the Mass Leads Act and it goes into effect immediately! From a land use entitlement perspective, this legislation includes important provisions like a two-year Permit Extension Act, requires review of Designated Port Areas, essentially creates a three-year zoning freeze for projects with Site Plan Approvals and/or Special Permits, clarifies what constitutes commencement of construction, and establishes a State Permit Regulatory Office. https://lnkd.in/d7Ye8MUw
