Implementing Physical Literacy-informed PE requires a holistic approach that fosters 21st-century skills like teamwork and critical thinking. In Jharkhand, initiatives like the Let's Move Zone offer students safe, engaging spaces to explore movement. By integrating local games and culturally relevant activities, we promote inclusion and help children build confidence, competence, and a lifelong love for physical activity. Extending these efforts to communities, we engage parents and leaders to advocate for physical literacy, creating a sustainable system prioritizing movement, learning, and well-being for all.Anshul Sanghi Agrawal Maulshree Kalothia Abhidha Seth
Revolutionizing Education Through Structured Movement! In partnership with the International Physical Literacy Association (IPLA), 13 Fellows in Jharkhand's two districts are introducing physical literacy-informed practices into the Physical education curriculum. These efforts are sparking a shift—more students are participating in sports and physical activities, they are more engaged, teachers are actively participating, and physical literacy informed practices are becoming an integral part of the education system. This is more than a curriculum; it’s a movement towards healthier, active and inclusive learning environments. At the School of Education and Systems Change, that is what we work for!
