Just began my third year as a docent at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, where I have enjoyed engaging with visitors from around the world, fascinated by the remarkable achievements over the past half century in human and robotic space exploration.
Nice going Harley
Great to see you again, Harley. That is wonderful that you have volunteered your time as a docent.
That’s excellent Harley! I need to stop by and see you sometime.
Very cool!
fantastic Harley!
Harley: I've been following FISO for many years & presented there a couple of times. I didn't know you were a NASM docent. Like me. I've been a docent for 20 years starting in 2003 with the opening of the Udvar-Hazy Center. We only have a few docents with space careers. Glad to see we have another space expert!
I love that you are sharing all your knowledge and history with the public like this! What a treat for visitors
Sounds great Harley. My wife and I are docents at the Reagan Presidential library which is 10 minutes from our house. It really is rewarding to interact with all the visitors. I'd love to do the Smithsonian, but a 2200 mile commute makes it a tough proposition
Congrats Harley - it is great that you are doing that!
