top welder test our battery powered welder on site day 15. "completely revamped our welding and fabrication trucks. we have four customized welding and fabrication layout, prototype, repair and installation trucks. This toyota is the only one like it in the united States today. Four wheel drive, four door crew cab, custom specialized driveline suspension,e rated tires, twelve ply. running the 4*49 pound lithium battery powered stick and tick machine, I 've only got three at the moment, one is on our other truck, these awesome lithium battery powered welder, just three of them alone,I can weld 14 hours a day with no limitation.100% duty cycle, all three charged. Grabbing one, welding for about an hour, putting this one back on a charge, grabbing the second one, welding on it for about an hour.then the first one is charged. grabbing the third one, welding it for about an hour, putting it back, grabbing the first one,now the second one is charged. so in rotation, just three of these machines allow me to run up to 316 structural rod. however,5/32 all day long give me just under a half inch full penetration weld.I can run about 12ft of solid penetration welds on a single charge. These 49 pund machines will allow me to recharge each machine two or three times a day giving me a four to five years longevity, working 100% And then for the game changer, here is the 5000 plus.this machine here allows me to run 50 pounds of rod on a single charge.that's right,on a single charge, only weighs 365 punds. I have just under 14000 watt hours of power,I have a 240 volts. run all of my mag drills, plasma cutter, grinders, smoke eaters, you name it. 5600ft away from the machine, running six gauge extension cords,I have got 30 amp and 20 amp,110V,this machine stick and tig up to 202 amps.100% duty cycle. I can run 800ft of welding lead from the machine out to my job site if necessary.this is as loud as it gets,by the way.the engine on thsi truck is londer than the equipment I carry. this allow us to do work and save an hour roll up and an hour roll out,or vice versa on a daily basis, which equates to about $1000 a week. that's quite a saving just for this equipment, the quickness and durability of the equipment allows me to drop any type of welding I need" #welder #welding #metalwork #fabrication #metalfabrication

You Need Welders: What Do They Need From You? 🤔 From construction to manufacturing, from automotive to shipbuilding – what is the one profession everyone needs? You are right, welders! If you find yourself in need of professional and skilled welder, you need to understand not just what they will/can do for you, but what you can do for them as well. How to ensure successful partnership? Here are few things to think about: 1. Communication Give them clear instructions regarding project specifications, deadlines and safety protocols. Prepare plans and drawing in advance and be prepared to engage in discussion about the expectations and upcoming challenges. Be in the loop of work progress and be aware of possible concerns. 2. Resources Invest in the equipment and materials to improve the work quality and boost work morale. Welders require right tools and materials to be effective. They need not only welding machinery and protective gear, but also materials that meet the industry standards allowing them to do do work safely and efficiently. 3. Safety Let’s be honest, it is a hazardous job, so safety should always come first. Be sure that your worksite complies with safety regulations and provide protective equipment: gloves, helmets, flame resistant clothing, boots etc. Encourage workers to voice their concerns and suggest improvements as they will be the ones doing the work every day! This will reduce risks and empower your team. 4. Recognition and “thank you” Long hour shifts under challenging conditions can feel overstimulating. So, it is essential to recognise and respect their hard work. Celebrate milestones, say “thank you” or go one step forward and make a formal recognition program. It fosters loyalty and positive work environment. 5. Flexibility All projects have their delays and challenges. Being flexible and understanding can go a long way when building a relationship that might last longer than few months. Welders might come across such problems as material delays or equipment failure and by supporting them in a time of need, will help navigate these challenges more smoothly and effectively. Welders bring invaluable skillset to your project and their success hinges on your support and resources provided.
