programming a microcontroller (ATmega32) My simple project is (instruction decoder!) Let's get to know the project! : using 8 way DIP switch , and two seven segment : -BIT 7:6 for OP code . if op code =00 then ->summation operation. if op code =01 then ->subtraction operation. if op code =10 then ->multiplication operation. if op code =11 then ->Division operation. -BIT 4:3 for operand 2. -BIT 2:1:0 for operand 1. for example: if instruction is 10011110 then -> display 18 on seven segment. why? 10 ->multiplication operation. 011 ->operand 2 is 3 in decimal. 110->operand 1 is 6 in decimal. so. the result is 18 .

Successful implementation of External interrupt 0 as vectored IRQ in slot 0 using LPC2129 microcontroller 1. The Vector Interrupt Controller block, which can handle 32 interrupts is studied. 2. The suitable registers for generating a vectored IRQ using external interrupt 0 is studied with the help of LPC2129 datasheet 3. A program is developed using embedded C for generating vectored IRQ, at slot 0 4. The results are verified using a debugger, where an interrupt is enabled on pressing a switch at 16th pin at port0 5. the repeated action of which disables the interrupt 6. Up until just recently, I had been planning on storing both integer and floating point values in the same register file. However, ϕEngine processors support up to 128-bit floating point values, which in common industry parlance, are called quad-precision floats. In ϕ System parlance they are called “float oct” of type “fo”. These are 16-bytes in size. Just four of them would fill up the integer register file which is not desirable. The integer register file is 64-bytes in size. So I am going to segregate floating point values into their own register file. It will have a relatively minor impact on the instruction set. Since floats are twice the size of their integer counterparts, the new floating point register file will be 128 bytes which is enough space to have 8 fo's, 16 fq's, 32 fd's or 64 fb's or any combination of those. The programmer must plan on how he/she wants to use this memory. I have added Push and Pull Float instructions for saving and restoring their values on the stack. #computers #electronics #programming #CPU
