Cheltenham is a great place to head for Christmas shopping, and I have done so for many years.. yet there's an area of Cheltenham that remains a hidden gem. Montpellier is home to Neal's Yard Remedies and Charles Clinkard and the most fabulous independent shops and eateries, such as Pink, Rossiter Books, Chaplais Kitchen and so many more. Over the weekend, I saw how busy the Promenade got, people in the festive spirit mooching around the Christmas market, and popping into the likes of Vinegar Hill, which was bursting with customers shopping for Christmas gifts and goodies. But then it stops, its as if no one knows if they ventured a further 5 minutes walk, they'd stumble upon Montpellier and the fabulous shops it brings. I spoke at length with business owners and have said footfall is always low and they don't know why with it being so close to town. My aim is to raise awareness of this golden nugget and see if the power of LinkedIn can help drive the footfall to Montpellier in Cheltenham.. can you help with the challenge?
