Keep an eye out for my new paper titled: A Technical Overview of Current "New Space" LEO-PNT Initiatives and Their Application Potential. The paper will sumarize the technical specifications of the latest new space LEO-PNT iniatives and link them to application needs. The applications analyzed include autonomous driving, first responders, maritime navigation, and pedestrian tracking. I will present the paper at WS 01 - International Workshop On Positioning, Navigation and Tracking for Autonoumous and Intelligent Vehicles. 👏👏 👏 It is my honor to post our recent survey paper "CFD-Based Hydrodynamic Performance Investigation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles: A Survey": https://lnkd.in/e_parkDe published in Ocean Engineering. Hydrodynamic performance investigation of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) plays a crucial role in their shape design, dynamic modeling, and motion control. Based on a comprehensive literature review of 230 academic papers and a case study, the advantages and limitations of CFD-based hydrodynamic performance investigation of AUVs were discussed, and several future directions in this field were provided.

Vol II: GNC Part 1 Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems are essential for the autonomous operation of ground vehicles, enabling them to follow designated paths, understand their position, and make controlled movements within challenging environments. This video demonstrates a front Ackermann-steering vehicle navigating a tight path. The vehicle utilizes a fusion of GNSS, IMU, vehicle odometry, and Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO) for precise localization. The navigation is driven by the NAV2 framework.
