🔴 (WHAT'S NEW?) 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆! The new ORIGINALS collection is finally available online, and I've been eagerly anticipating its completion for quite some time. Over the past six months, I've adjusted, changed, cataloged, painted, manipulated, and remade this new art series, and now it's finally here. For those who are new here, it's important to understand that my art is divided into three tiers. The first tier consists of art that I share online, which you can usually access for free, share, and print yourselves (DREAMS®). The second tier includes pieces that you can obtain as prints and NFTs online, such as the spectacular series available on Artmajeur. Finally, the third tier comprises the ORIGINALS, the artworks that I sell physically only on Saatchi and in specialized art galleries. These last types of artworks are quite rare, somewhat expensive (don't worry, there's still an option to get them as affordable prints), and typically require a significant amount of time to ensure that every detail and aspect of the pieces is in perfect condition. Essentially, they represent pure contemporary art, a true artisanal work that demands time, effort, and, for me, represents the pinnacle of what I can offer to my collectors. Are they rare? Yes. Are they expensive? Yes. Are they for everybody? Nope. So, why all of this? Well, the answer is pretty simple. I'm an artist, and being an artist means that I'm a worker. And like all workers in the world, higher-quality work costs more than usual and is rare to find everywhere. Is this stuff elitist, as they say? I don't know. What I do know is that you shouldn't expect a Ferrari to cost the same as any other car, because a Ferrari is a Ferrari, and the Originals series is something like that. It's ultra-selective. As an art collector myself, I found it both amusing and insulting. Let's dissect your "SHIT WE WANT YOU TO KNOW," shall we? BE HUMBLE! You're right, we collectors are not royalty. But neither are you the gatekeepers of artistic enlightenment. We may not all be connoisseurs, but we bring passion, financial support, and a genuine love for art to the table. Without us, your precious galleries would be nothing more than empty showrooms. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS! Ah yes, the transactional friendship. You'll wine and dine us, but only if we promise to be your BFFs (Best Financial Friends). Let's be honest, it's a symbiotic relationship. We need you to access the art, and you need us to keep the lights on. DON'T WASTE OUR TIME! Your lament about being "conned" into socializing is laughable. Art fairs and gallery openings are as much about networking as they are about art. And let's not pretend that galleries don't benefit from the buzz generated by collectors. BE SANE ABOUT PRICES. Your condescending tone on pricing is rich coming from an industry known for its opacity. Art is not a commodity like a handbag at Dior. Its value is subjective, and negotiation is part of the game. Asking for a discount is not a sign of disrespect, but a recognition that art is an investment, not just a pretty picture. PAY ON TIME! Of course, we should honour our commitments. But let's not forget that galleries have been known to delay payments to artists, or worse, not pay them at all. In closing, dear Anonymous Art Ambassador, your advice reeks of elitism and entitlement. The art world is evolving, and collectors are becoming more informed and empowered. We won't be bullied or belittled. We will continue to support artists we love and galleries that earn our respect. And perhaps, just perhaps, the art world would be a more vibrant and inclusive place if those on both sides of the transaction treated each other with a little more respect and a little less cynicism.
