Something that comes up over and over again is a, I think a misconception that people think that you should have some kind of you, you should do something great and then you should have like belief in yourself. I'm like, no, no, that's *** *********. It's completely the opposite. It's belief comes before ability. In all of these stories and all the biographies you're reading, all the entrepreneurs that you admire, way before they had a tracker track record, right? We admire them after the track record. After that, you could point to their body of work way before that. It starts with relentless. Self belief and the reason I think this is so important is because I'm an evangelist for reading biographies, obviously, but I'm also evangelist for entrepreneurs. And I think we don't have an epidemic of overconfidence. We have an epidemic of people that don't believe in themselves enough that they even try to start a company. And so one thing I try to teach on the podcast and you and it's obvious if you read a bunch of biographies is like, no, no, like the the wonderful thing about biographies comma business books is like you see the totality of their entire life. Sam ones writing his autobiography when he knows he's dying, he's in severe pain. He knew he's he's got cancer all over his body and his time is limited. And yet you see what he was like when he was a kid. You see was like when he was in high school. You see what he's like when he first started his first store, which he he had a single store, the greatest retailer to ever live. The person that wind up building a business that's now been thriving for 60 years that produced one of the greatest fortunes that humanity has ever seen started with a single store for five years. And then you also see the fact that he had this relentless self belief way before he ever built Walmart or anything else that would give him the, the, the, the acknowledgement that, oh, maybe my self belief is justified. And so one thing I try to do is just like, if you read biographies, if you listen to founders, like you're not, even if you like founders, I always say it's like, you're not a fan of the podcast, You're a fan of yourself because that's what it is. You see you in the, in these stories.
