Serving Clients Through Integrated Solutions

On the topic of office parties (and client dinners) and lessons learned: Grab a glass of tonic water with a twist and refill when thirsty. Looks like an adult beverage, keeps you hydrated, and you can remember people's names! You might also get a chance to drive an executive to their hotel as a designated driver, getting quality face time with someone who can help you in your career. Happy Holidays! #officeparties #professional #conductbecoming

I will lose followers over this. I don't care. Drinking at work functions can lead you to: • Lose your job • Forget the night • Touch someone up Drinking isn't living. It's forgetting. I believe this because I lived this way for years. I drank too much at every work event to look cool. I always ended up embarassing myself. It cost me big promotions. Then I gave up drinking. People respected me for it. I stopped making an idiot of myself. And I enjoyed work functions 10x more because I was sober enough to be present. Instead of getting drunk at your Christmas party.... 1. Have a company dinner without alcohol. 2. Save yourself the hangover and actually connect with people. Be responsible. Forget drinking this festive season. <<<>>> ♻️ Repost if it resonates.

I recall while on business trip to Sydney in the early 90’s a cab driver explained the situation with the stringent drink-drive regulations in Australia….0.00 is the limit! The driver told me of many passengers who had been stopped by constables in check points on the morning after on the way to work only to be gigged for the morning after remains of the previous evening….

It's called self-awareness and self-regulation. Two primary components of emotional intelligence.

Getting drunk is a bad idea, doesn’t matter where!
