It seems evermore important to expand the network within the EU/EDA and NATO area.

Entering office in 2019 the European Commission, led by Ursula von der Leyen, rallied around a #EUGreenDeal as a policy priority. The new Commission would design a growth strategy to ensure #Europe remained “a prime destination for #investments that bring stable, future-proof quality jobs, with a strong industrial base.” Regulatory bottlenecks, uncertain investment environments and international supply chain issues should not be ignored if this priority is to become a reality. Despite some important steps forward in recent years, particularly in #cleantech, Europe continues to be hamstrung on the issue of international competitiveness. Without a real mission to solve the obstacles to the continent’s economic ambitions, no Commission will manage to maintain a strong industrial base full of future-proof jobs in Europe, while transitioning to #netzero. With #cleanhydrogen, Europe has a chance to secure a leading role in a multi-billion-euro global industry – with all the benefits that come with it. Addressing supply chain uncertainties, increasing financial support for key sectors and decreasing regulatory burdens on new technologies would be a great start. Europe must urgently implement Mario Draghi's report recommendations to future-proof the economy and unleash its cleantech potential. Earlier this week, the Energy Resilience Leadership Group, in partnership with Cleantech for Europe, hosted a roundtable in Berlin with Bill Gates, Jörg Kukies and senior leaders from energy and industry. The event focused on how to regain Europe's competitiveness, outlining first principles to boosting Europe’s industrial competitiveness immediately. Last week, John Hunter and Alexandra Daoud from Ingrid Capacity joined the launch of the #Smartenergy platform at the Swedish residence in Warsaw, a collaborative initiative by the Embassy of Sweden in Warsaw and Business Sweden. The platform aims to engage companies in Poland's energy sector transformation. 🇵🇱🇸🇪 The meeting brought many valuable insights, some key takeaways included: 💰 The economic shift to green jobs is crucial for prosperity. As it has many times been in history, future work opportunities will emerge in geographies where there is cheap energy. 🛡 As societies are electrified, the need for a secure and resilient energy system will become increasingly important. 🤝 Collaboration is a prerequisite for a successful green transition. It must be handled at a European level. The commitment towards the green transition was strong from all attendees, which was inspiring. It was also exciting to hear about Poland’s ambitious plans of its government to be a pioneer in the green transition. Among the attendees were names and companies like the Swedish Ambassador Andreas von Beckerath, the Polish Secretary of State Krzysztof (Chris) Bolesta, Business Sweden, IFC - International Finance Corporation, EBRD, and industry companies such as Northvolt, Volvo Cars, Aira, Skanska, OX2, Scania Group, and SKF Group. Over the past 6 months we have seen at Skeleton Technologies rapid demand growth from - #gridstability - the share of renewables is growing and Skeleton provides the last line of defense to keep the lights on with 200 MW power blocks. - #AI #datacenter peak power / peak shaving. Data centers experience power swings of over 20-30 MW per second making, Skeleton offers the key to get higher efficiency out of GPU’s in existing infrastucture and reduce the cost and lead time for new infrastructure - ⁠#Defense, defense requires extreme power and we are here to make sure we enable protection of the free world. These sectors are going to be some of the key focus for the EU in the foreseeable future, as urged by Mario Draghi's recent report. 🌍 **Clean Technologies Deployment: European Commission Launches Digital Platforms to Facilitate Industrial Transition** On April 10, the European Commission unveiled a communication aimed at supporting industry and Member States in implementing EU legislation and achieving European goals on clean technologies. ✅ **Key Details**: - **Tracking Platform**: It will centralize competitiveness and clean transition indicators such as emission reductions, energy costs, and local production of green technologies, in line with the "net-zero" industry regulation (NZIA). - **Obstacle Identification Platform**: This platform will identify challenges hindering the deployment of clean technologies.
